Bakerloo Line

edit

Hi. I'm afraid I had to remove your addition to Bakerloo line as I don't think there is any official plan or timetable for re-extending it, although I know it has been speculated about. If you got the information from a reliable source then please put it back with a reference to that source. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:13, 24 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Michael Gordon (footballer), you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. GiantSnowman 16:21, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi. When you recently edited Northwood F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page USA national football team (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Tommie Hoban, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 16:07, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Tommie Hoban. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GiantSnowman 16:35, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Ed Stein (footballer), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. GiantSnowman 11:27, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Thaddeus Lewis may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. Notable players

edit

Could you please stop adding back the notable players as you did at Northwood F.C.. Firstly, there is nothing particularly notable about a player moving from a non-league to a league club inherently, you need to provide some form of source to indicate why this would be notable. Secondly a player who never played for the club cannot possibly be notable for the club. He may be notable on his own as a player but if he became notable after he left Club A having never played for them then he should not really be in Club A's notable list. Infobox dates

edit

Hi, when updating infobox stats you need to update the |pcupdate= or |club-update= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:23, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:41, 26 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

December 2013

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to George Nicholas (footballer), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Please bear in mind the above message regarding infobox dates. January 2014

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Lewin Nyatanga. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:37, 3 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

WP:LIVESCORES

edit

Hi, stats should not be updated until the match is complete, per WP:LIVESCORES. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 21:16, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for updating stats but same again re your Meite and Tamas edits, better all round if edits done after the match - one reason is if the match is abandonned (eg with Charlton) the edits all need to be reverted. So an appearance isn't complete till the match is complete. Will leave those two edits this time :) Cjwilky (talk) 15:31, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:54, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Again, please do not update stats until the match has finished (Tommie Hoban, amongst others) - what if he scores? It created confusion. When you do update you need to update the full datestamp using 5 tildes (~~~~~). GiantSnowman 18:36, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You've just updated Tommie Hoban again and the match has not even fully started! You have been warned about this multiple times before by multiple editors - please consider this a final warning. If you prematurely update a player's stats again your will be blocked from editing. Your edits are inaccurate and therefore disruptive. GiantSnowman 13:34, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
