Speedy deletion nomination of Exodus Extranium
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Exodus Extranium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vejvančický (talk) 07:52, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Bochek.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Bochek.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude ► 08:35, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Hello. The reason the article you created keeps getting deleted is because the band does not meet Wikipedia's standards of notability. If the band does meet the standards listed on that page, you'll need to include reliable sources in the article. 152.16.16.75
That is a load of bull. I have enough notability! Seriously, why is it such a freaking problem that I don't have a list of singles on my page? I listed my band's history, where we're from, the members, and so fourth. IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL whether or not I have made an album. I still have a BAND that makes music. Not every band in the world has an album, so get off my back about this deletion!!!!!!Woody001100 (talk) 2:14, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- As editors, our hands are tied on this and our guidelines are specific about not making exceptions once a problem has come to our attention. If after reading the entire article WP:MUSIC and the list of 12 things that most easy might count as notability and you still have concerns, you can try that 'Help' link ← over on the left, or include a {{helpme}} tag onto your user page and someone will be off to the rescue in no time! Unfortunately, I do see you've been through this process several times the past few days already... I hate to sound this forceful but it would completely helpful for you to at least read that music guidelines article; that way you can better decide what you should create for articles and it saves the times of the kind volunteer patrols here who are trying to keep you from stumbling as your just moving ahead. Good luck! ♪ daTheisen(talk) 10:24, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Help with my band page
edit{{helpme}} Okay, I'm asking kindly for someone to overview my band page, Exodus Extranium and add what is necessary onto it. Then, I will edit it again and put in my own information. Thanks. Woody001100 (talk) 2:38, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi Woody. I'm sorry for your lost work, didn't mean to waste your time. However, I explained my deletion nomination yesterday here at your talk page:
- Is this band notable? For further information on Wikipedia requirements for musicians and bands, look at WP:BAND, please.
This is an encyclopedia, not MySpace or Facebook. Wikipedia doesn't have an article for every band in the world. Please, again, read the criteria mentioned in this link. Hope that helps. --Vejvančický (talk) 11:08, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- The article looks nice, but it fails the notability criteria that others have linked to above. I've created a copy of the article at User:Woody001100/Exodus Extranium, so if there's anything that would make it notable enough for reinclusion in the main encyclopedia, you can add it without having to retype the whole thing. However, if you'd rather start from scratch or otherwise don't want this copy in your userspace, let me know. Euryalus (talk) 11:58, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
