Changing genres incorrectly
editPlease, stop making changes in the genres of bands. In the vast majority are already well defined. Cannibaloki 00:28, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- I like how you completely ignored the big huge message right above the genre on the August Burns Red article that said "do not add more genres without reliable sources." If it says don't change it, then don't change it. Thanks. — FatalError 04:11, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Demo EP (Mychildren Mybride album)
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Demo EP (Mychildren Mybride album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. opeth genre
editas they use death metal styles with growled vocals, heavy riffs and drumming and also incorporate progressive metal with the time changes and melodic singing flowing the patterns of the music.
this is both death metal AND progressive metal.
would it not make sense just to call that 'progressive death metal' as that is a fusion of both genres.

Do not ignore Wikipedia Project rules
editPlease read WP:ALBUM to learn proper rules for editing album articles on Wikipedia. All your your recent album edits have had to be corrected as they ignored the rules set down by WP:ALBUM. Only the first genre in a genre list is capitalized. And all fields use a comma as a spacing delimeter. No coded breaks are to be used. Also make sure all label links use the piped format to keep the over box length short. Libs (talk) 00:33, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Genres
editPlease do not rearrange genres needlessly. This does not appear to be constructive. Chubbles (talk) 16:58, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Conclusionofanage.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Conclusionofanage.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 06:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Manchester United squad
editSimpson and Possebon are no longer listed as being in the Manchester United first team. Please stop adding them to the squad list. – PeeJay 14:59, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Hewson, Possebon, Drinkwater and Chester were not given squad numbers this season. – PeeJay 07:07, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Real Madrid roster II
editI know you can't answer the question, but if Antonio Adan is registered to Castilla, can he be listed on the Madrid roster in the main article? The reason why I asked is because he can't wear 25 in league play because he is not on the first team and reserve players must wear 26 or higher. Raul17 (talk) 21:07, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Please stop adding initials to goal scorers
editI have noticed that you've been adding the first initial to players who score goals in the World Cup tournament. That is usually only done when two players with the same family name played in that game. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:22, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

editPlease stop adding that ...Ángel Fabián di María (born 14 February 1988 in Rosario, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Spanish club Real Madrid. as that is simply not correct, please discuss on the talkpage as users dispute your addition. Looking forward to any discussion with you. Thanks. 23:48, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Juventus
editJust to inform that Paolucci is half owned by Siena and the co-ownership was renewed in June 2010. Juventus had to pay Siena a sum to loan him back (or Juventus reduced the transfer fees of Paolucci by pay Siena back). Since Paolucci was not call-up to Juventus pre-season camp, seems there is no intention that Juventus will extended the loan. I.e. Paolucci RETURNED to Siena after his contract contract expired on 1 July 2010. 210.6.121.27 (talk) 07:48, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Javier Hernández Balcázar. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. And by the way, the "idiot" is me TbhotchTalk C. 23:38, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of II (Xerath album)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on II (Xerath album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Phearson (talk) 16:35, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Vandalism Warning - (Valencia CF)
editI didn't vandalize, and never do, I re-added Juan Manuel Mata, who remains a Valencia player until he passes a medical and SIGNS a contract with Chelsea F.C., although unlikely, he could fail his medical and not agree personal terms. This DOES happen in football. XTomScottx (talk) 13:19, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- I removed the warning, my sincerest apologies. It was the IP user who made the next edit after yours who was the vandal as you can see here, I have since warned the IP user, yet again I apologise. Regards (★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★) 04:26, 25 August 2011 (UTC))

XTom: Tottenham is in NE London, not N London. Really. True, there is no NE postcode (there was originally, covering Hackney, Tottenham, Clapton, and Walthamstow) but the PO ditched in in about 1925. HOWEVER you can see on the map that geographically we are NE. The Spurs club has always had more fans from the East End as a result - it's straight up the A10. (Which has N postcodes to the west and E to the east for much of the way). Arsenal and Barnet, on the other hand, are straight N London. (Well, Arsenal are actually from SE London but that's another story.) Can I change it? Herbolzheim (talk) 21:35, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I fail to see the justification for this edit, given that Haringey is considered by the London Plan to be located in North London. --Kinu t/c 18:58, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Assists in football career stats table
editHi XTomScottx, there is a clear consensus against including 'assists' in footballer's career statistics tables as assists are subjective and there is no universal definition of assists, hence I removed it on Eden Hazard's article earlier this month. If you feel differently please discuss WP:FOOTY, if you continue to re-add them, against said consensus, then your editing will be considered as disruptive. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 00:59, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Masked (album)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Masked (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:40, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
Nomination of Masked (album) for deletion
editA discussion is taking place as to whether the article Masked (album) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Masked (album) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 09:43, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
The article Casting Shadows (EP) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
duplicate of sylosis
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
