Duke Nukem Forever

Just following up on some of your statements on the talk page for DNF; I thought it was better to bring it up here than there.

You seem to have a personal investment in this game. Apart from your recent statement about Jon St. John somehow being different to other voice actors in the game industry, you've previously made statements about the game such as "Who cares about other companies and it's release date standards , this is DNF, respect or gtfo", "that's not valid source but still , DNF is uniqe" and "Who cares about what other companies standards are , Duke nukem defines the gaming." In short, you seem to feel that for some reason, the DNF wikipedia article shouldn't be held to the standards of other articles; why is this? Aawood (talk) 12:04, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Because it's not like any other game , which eventually got canceled because they aren't as special and as subjective as this game is , they don't say much , and because of a lawsuit they don't say nothing at all at this moment, only scott miller makes a short words from time to time, since the initial false announcements by media sites that 3DR "is" closed down , many people don't care anymore and some of the important stuff is not as popular as it might otherwise be , see this video where Jace Hall the guy that first ever made DNF gameplay discoverd , made an interview later , in which he explains how subjective the game is , and how important it is to them (link: , it will probably never be canceled , because if it is , than that means end of the career for those guys , retirement or some low job , and you don't want to end your life like that at 40yrs , if you

There is no other developer that would be doing what they are , I don't live for DNF , butb I think it just earns some respect as a project , as a blessing almost , it's not your normal game desinger , who makes games like conveyor belt everything pre-designed and turns out to be a piece of garbage, I realize i must not write subjective article , but i think some things need to be mentioned but they aren't just because they seem too subjective in real life , but then we know objective ways to express a mention , maybe add somthing like Rumor section or something , or Last Hopes , because we all know they confirmed it in December 2009 , it was a clear and official from scott miller , but the major public think 3DR is already done for and we don't need to rely on major public and those wired articles.

Why did I said that , because 1997 was long ago , and not a lot of people don't know what 3Drealms actually was , they made the gaming , and they actually were the first publisher to ID , the only 2 companies along with Westwood , the TRIO that actually CREATED the gaming market , everything else you see now are capitalized copycats with a few exceptions(ofcourse there are a lot of talented private developers as well) and because they are big companies they do things on their own "standards" to make more profit , and why all other companies follow suit for these "standards" because a lot of them is also business centered and it is perfectly logical that they will see the idea for more profit too and thus follow or did it similarly.

hi I saw your comment on Hasting and I agree. I don't know why I'm writing here. I don't even have a car and defiantly do not understand technical issues. but I did notice that wiki completely ignored the car explosion, so I added a part called death- explosion.
