GONE(Wikibreak)
I'm gone mostly. Basically my level of activity here is practically nothing nowadays. I"m too busy with other things in real life nowadays to worry so much about things here.Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 23:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- DO NOT my userpage or talkpage leaving only the retire templates!!!Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 23:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

- I may stick around to see how that mess over at Barack Obama turns out.I'll come by once in while to check my watchlist, see what's happened, rv a few obvious vandals, and I may be back, but i guess I'm on wikibreak not retiring!!!Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 00:42, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Um, why are you leaving? I was just doing vandal patrol and then saw the "gone" edit summary. --RyRy5 (talk) 00:44, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've changed my mind, but I'm on wikibreak till 6/27/08 when I grad 7th grade and have summer break(6 weeks) when I can become really active here.Till then I got school.Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 00:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- I just wanted for you to take a look at my recent reverts. All of them were reverts without rollback, huggle, etc and they are all accurate. Remember also that reverting is not a race. It's accuracy that matters most. --RyRy5 (talk) 00:58, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

I think I almost left because I was so angry at myself for not realizing that(see above) for so long(realization occured about 1 week after lost of huggle. Thanks. Like I said I've got a repot due Monday(next week) which I haven't even started!!!And it's worth 50 points, the equivalent of a chapter test!!!Offline now, post messages here but they won't be reviewed till the weekends or the early morning if I can wake up at 5:30 am again!:)Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 01:03, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Too many banners
Lol, most of your talk page banners say much of the same thing. --— Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 02:18, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- Showoff!!!;)<joke>Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 02:39, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Realist2 does have a bit of a point there. It could be a good idea to tidy up the top area of your user talk page. Here's a possible solution: [1]. It's a collapse box to hide the notices. Then you could keep those banners and it'll be "neat" up there. I'd suggest if you did do that, you should put one of the "break" notices outside the box so it's always seen since that'd be good for other users to know that you're not really around so they're not waiting and waiting for your replies. And it'd probably be a good idea to get rid of a few of the banners that repeat the same information as other banners. Just a few suggestions because Realist2 is right; that is a lot of banners for one user talk page. Metros (talk) 02:40, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, there's also {{Skiptotoctalk}}. You can put that at the top of your banners and it'll bring people directly to your table of contents so that they don't need to scroll through all the banners to find it. Well, never mind now since I just saw that you decided to go with the collapsed box I showed you. Cheers, Metros (talk) 02:45, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the info metros.:DXp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 02:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with Metros. Having all those banners on the top of your talk page does make it a bit confusing. I'd suggest using the callapsible one, rather than having all those banners. Either that, or you just remove all the banners and some the info up into one banner. Maybe something like the one on top of my talk page? Makes everything better organized and less confusing to others. --RyRy5 (talk) 03:00, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- True,I'd like something like your userpage if you don't mind. It seems so cool!!! But still I'd like the wikibreak box kept(important) and the "This is user is not an admin don't bother me if your page a was deleted<joke>:)" box.Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 03:04, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- And in case you didn't notice, you can change the background color of the collapsed banner by changing the web colors hex code for it. I just used a default one, but you can change it if you please. Metros (talk) 03:04, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- It's okay. Next time, if your going to take something like a user page design, notice, etc from someone, it's a good idea to tell them. Something like this happened when User:Bluegoblin7 took User:Steve Crossin's adoption program without asking, until Crossin found out that he stole it exactly the same thing without asking. --RyRy5 (talk) 22:37, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

- I understand. But as long as the copying person didn't claim credit for the design , I really wouldn't care. Besides I don't "own" the design according to the GNU license. When I edit here I agree to let other people change it(hopefully for the better),take it,copy it,etc.(according to license and reminders under edit box):)Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 22:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Just noticed
Is there a specific reason that you'll be gone until June 27? I thought the school year was just about over...that's the way it is in our city, with my daughter. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 00:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Reason= School ain't over yet.June 13 is career day, carnival, talent show.fashion show, that's basically an end of the year party as there are practically no classes.Today was rocket launch day for the 8th grade science classes which happens near the "end" of the year. June 27 is the last day of 7th grade then 6 weeks summer vacation. My brother is still in 6th grade and our district's weird schedule has wreaked havoc on our vacation plans.<sigh> At least there's practically no more homework. But I still can't believe it's almost the end of 7th grade.<sigh>Hope this answers your question.Cheers!Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 00:59, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Also, I am not worried about you affecting my hypothetical RFA. What I am worried about is that you are fighting vandalism right off without ever having written any articles or significantly improved any .(that I know of. If I'm wrong, tell me.) It is not a good idea to start right off and fight vandalism. It is far better to write for a while, and then start vandal-patrolling. If you write articles for a while, it gives you a better appreciation for how much work goes into them and it can make you think twice before you revert an iffy edit or tag a borderline page for speedy deletion. Iris
Iris made a response on his/her talk page, there were no apologizes and there wont be. Iris hasn't provided any proof for the claims made, so can do no more damage than wreck our image lol. It is best to stay out of Iris's way, never speak of or mention the contributer again. Dont go on her/his talk page again. Clearly we are not liked/wanted by this Admin. There is no point taking it to ANI as neither party broke a policy and im not sure breach of AGF is punishable anyway. If it continues however something could be done but that would be hard as Iris is a member of the Admin brigade. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 22:00, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

My RFB
Thank you for your comments in my RFB. Since it was only at 64%, it was a shoo-in to be unsuccessful, so I withdrew. I didn't want it to run until its scheduled close time because my intent in standing for RFB was to help the bureaucrats with their workload, not give them one more RfX to close. Through the course of my RFB, I received some very valuable feedback, some of it was contradictary, but other points were well agreed upon. I have ceased my admin coaching for now to give me time to revamp my method. I don't want to give up coaching completely, but I'm going to find a different angle from which to approach it. As for my RFA Standards, I am going to do some deep intraspection. I wrote those standards six months ago and I will slowly retool them. This will take some time for me to really dig down and express what I want in an admin candidate. If, after some serious time of deep thought, I don't find anything to change in them, I'll leave them the way they are. I'm not going to change them just because of some community disagreement as to what they should be. Will I stand for RFB again in the future? I don't know. Perhaps some time down the road, when my tenure as an administrator is greater than one year, if there is a pressing need for more active bureaucrats, maybe. If there no pressing need, then maybe not. Useight (talk) 03:01, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

I do have an account and writing is ok.... however I vandalize for fun at my friends' computers or when I change my ip. Have you given it a try? It is super super, fun. for instance....... you should tell your parents to stop being so hard on you and go find some real friends. skip a class. I dare you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.150.73 (talk) 04:32, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
yeah, so is there like some huge behind the scenes society that edits and checks every single thing on wikipedia? you people talk of writing articles as if its your job. Whenever I vandalize, it gets turned back like 2 seconds later by another human user. B4 stuff would stay on for days! Educators keep touting how crappy wiki is because "anybody" can change it. Except for the fact that 99% are helpful users plus the fact that it gets reverted in a flash. anyways.........

Rollback
I have 2 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 07:13, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Huggle
I've provisionally restored Huggle access for you. I can't emphasise enough to make sure to read the warnings and that Huggle may only be used in cases of blatant vandalism where there is no possible doubt that the edit in question is unconstructive. I won't have time, but I've no doubt that plenty of others will be watching you very closely for the first few days, and any misuse of it will see it taken away permanently and without further warning. – iridescent 15:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- <nervous laugh> I have no doubt about that.....Don't worry. And Gurch must have been working because huggle version 0.7.10 is all FAST!!!:D--Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 15:30, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Taunting vandals
If I see you taunting vandals again like this, I will take your tools away. There is no need to be responding to a vandal like that. Metros (talk) 17:14, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh..sorry..:(--Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 17:15, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Reverting vandalism isn't a game where you get to try to win and the vandals lose. The way you're going about it like that is inappropriate. We don't "make examples" out of users like you seen to want to do by keeping that thread around. By taunting the vandals you're just encouraging the users to return for revenge. You're also granting the vandals attention which is what they generally want. Metros (talk) 17:17, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'll heed your advice. But isn't "don't taunt the vandals" an essay?--Xp54321 (Hello!,Contribs) 17:20, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

I think I'm gonna steal some of your code.

Lots of pages on Watchlist
Yeah, I have about 1500 pages on my watchlist I believe. Most of them are from articles I edited or articles about subjects I have interest in and/or like. Since I like them, I try to help out when it is hit with vandalism. WP:CRAZY
As i stated in the hangon template, please do not delete the page. It may be used in the future, as i am already a good member and ive only been here for 5 hours! I have 70 edits under my belt already, so why wont that be possible for someone else? And when i said new user, i meant like, a month or something of editing. But, anyway, please do not delete that specific guideline page. I would appreciate it if i actually had made one of the historic guidelines of wikipedia. Thanks, 7Deadly Sinsgreed, gluttony, and wrath envy, sloth, lust and pride —Preceding comment was added at 22:27, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Your 70 edits have been mostly on your user page and talk pages. That does not mean at all you are a good member. Try editing some articles. Oh, and try to read WP:NOTMYSPACE also. A good member is a good contributer to the encyclopedia, not your user page. Thanks, RyRy5 (talk) 22:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes R5 above is correct. Also your page would be an essay not official policy if kept.I stand in favor of deletion. Sorry.--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 22:34, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
RfA
Hey Xp, looking at the RfA for Ryan, its best not to get involved, its usually best to place your "vote" and run for cover, never to return. RfA's are the ideal place for flame wars, while a flame war now and again is great for removing stress, another persons RfA is not the place. Its best to bite your lip and not say anything. Alternatively you can just stay away from the elitist fan club like Im doing. Just keep a cool head in there. :-) — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 23:52, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ugh..<deep sigh>(Stupid age bias,so immature,ignorant, and stuck in the past,like racism and sexism and slavery). I'll try.--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 23:55, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Lol, I wouldn't compare ageism to racism but neither are nice qualities. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 00:01, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- (ec)Don't worry, not everyone is bias against young people. There are many admins that are your age. There are just a handful of folk here that are too ignorant to realise that young people are just as suitable as admins as older people. ——Ryan • (talk) 00:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'll also add to that; Malleus is someone you really don't want to get in a flamewar with (check his talkpage & you'll see what I mean). While you may not agree with him, it is a reasonable position and he's explained it briefly, but I'll clarify it as he's assuming that readers are already familiar with it; in his view, someone who's too young to be legally prosecuted under Florida law (which governs Wikipedia) shouldn't be put in a position where they're judging what is or isn't libellous, copyright violations etc, since it gives them power without responsibility (since, as the "responsible adults", the employees of the Wikimedia Foundation would be liable for the actions of underage admins, not the admins themselves). – iridescent 00:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

To XP, it depends; in some cases, multiple RFAs can look like someone's trying too hard, or they can serve as a handy list of everything that's wrong with a user (as you can just read the last one's oppose section to see what the problems were). On the other hand, if the problems have all been addressed, then it gives an easy way to say "look how much I've improved!". - This is not meant to sound patronising but don't carry on attacking Malleus unless you've got a really good reason to. You won't win an argument with him — it's yet to happen — and all you're doing is annoy the very people you want on your side at WP:FAC, WP:RFA and the rest of the alphabet soup. You already have a (rather annoyed looking) deputy director of WP:FAC dragged into that conversation; while she's not someone who'll hold a grudge, equally if you're ever planning to take an article to FA status you don't want her thinking you're a stirrer. Just because you don't agree with Malleus doesn't mean he's not entitled to his opinion; the fact that the RFA in question is failing 2-1 makes me think that more people are likely to take his side than yours. (I'd actually advise staying away from RFA unless you've a reason to go there, such as one of your friends running; as you've probably noticed, the atmosphere there can get very heated, and if you do something that makes you look stupid you're doing it in full view of a lot of very influential people from across Wikipedia.) – iridescent 01:07, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

XP54321 what on earth am I going to do with you
Xp my friend you have tested the patience of the community to the limits. I am your biggest supporter... but this I cannot understand or condone. Your actions both yesterday and today have proven beyond all doubt that you are being disruptive. Might I refresh, yesterday you engaged in a flame war with user "Malleus", you declared war at the RfA for "Ryan" causing problems. You then entered communications with "SandyGeorgia" despite 3 different requests, myself included, not to.
Today you return, throw around allegations of racism (seriously Xp, seriously don't), set up a cabel and get Jimbo involved! I understand your frustration over this issue, opinion is divided, you have your fair share of supporters on this topic. However you have failed to prove you have the capacity for adminship anytime soon, you are going your cause more harm than good. If you want to be the spokes person for young editors then you need to conduct yourself. You have proven your critics to be right with our actions, you are acting like a typical teenager.
If you leave the project I will be terribly disappointed, you know that, but there is such a thing as "net positives" on wikipedia and things are sliding against you. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 00:07, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

←Xp, did you read any of those links I gave you? What...happens...here...affects...real...people. And your comparing the fact that seven people opposed an RFA for a reason you didn't like, to an institution that meant 12 million people forcibly removed from their homes, a gross social imbalance that has still to be corrected, the economic collapse of an entire continent and a war causing the death of over half a million people, is not exactly doing the "maturity" case any favours. Deletion of Guaraná Power?
Can you explain me why the article Guaraná Power has been deleted and now is marked for Speedy-deletion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fengergold (talk • contribs) 15:37, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sure. It is currently marked for deletion as a "promotion" page meaning it does nothing but promote or advertise a product meaning it should be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please see WP:CSD and WP:N for more information.Thanks!--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 15:40, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Note: I originally marked it WP:CSD#A1 for having "no context" another user marked it as an advertisement.--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 15:42, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
sorry
ok. you rever it. but reason is Nate1481 reverted Wrong version. my comments also deleted. it was a problem Manacpowers (talk) 15:53, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Um..okay. Just don't delete other people's cmts unless they're blatant personal attacks,trolling, or vandalism. --Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 15:54, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Re: Interquest Group Plc marked for speedy deletion. Hi new to wikipedia - so please be patient of my ignorance. I've been using Wikipedia for research for sometime, but only just started an account to edit and create articles.
This was my first article...a spoke to someone who said they were researching Interquest as a potential employer and only reference was that Luke Johnson was a Director... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Johnson_%28businessperson%29
Wanted to add a link from that page to one about Interquest...and was in the middle of completing it when I recieved your message.
Can I not create pages over time (save as go) or do I need to create completely off line then add it?
How much time do I get to before things are deleted? A lot of content to write...e.g linked to other founders / high profile business leaders in UK.
Any pointers gratefully accepted.
Thanks
"New" Pages
I'm not sure which pages you're referring to by "new pages mentioned on my talk". If you're referring to Luke Johnson (businessperson), I think it's a fine article, seems like it's written well and has a fair amount of sources. Useight (talk) 16:55, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

- Sorry to take so long to respond, I took a shower. Then I'm going to get a haircut in a minute. But, to answer your question, Guarana power has already been deleted, so you can't change a tag there; and InterQuest Group plc, I don't think a speedy deletion would be appropriate. If no reliable sources can be found, though, I think it should be taken to AFD. Useight (talk) 17:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
For Those...
For those of you about to annoy about my attempted nac on the mke article. Please do not. If didn't believe the closure was correct, simply continue the discussion until consensus is reached for a decision.--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 17:53, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'll just give you a virtual barnstar for having the courage to close that AfD, since I don't have any "real" ones handy. My opinion is that it was proper and Rubin was clearly wrong to revert you. If you *were* going to be reverted, it shouldn't have been him, he'd voted days before. And this may end up at ArbComm, though I rather doubt that everyone will be so stubborn that it will. Nice try. 7th grade, eh? I'm over five times your age. Keep it up, you'll go far. --Abd (talk) 18:39, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Arbcom?! <Laughs> As if... Um you're over 60? ;) LOL I couldn't figure out how to properly out the old afd template on the talkpage of the article. Rubin rmed that too.--Xp54321 (Hello! • Contribs) 18:44, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
I'm legal representative of Dr. Sasha Toperich. There is an article about him which is under your "protection". Somebody is editing this page and adding a contraversy paragraph that is not correct. I edited this (you can see it on history page) and deleted that paragraph many times. Now I'm unable to do that.
Please tell me what to do and how I can protect that article from vandalism.
I can send you a document signed by Dr. Sasha Toperich, US State Department, B&H Government.
Waiting for your response.
With the Best regards !
