Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you recently removed content from Paleo-Hebrew alphabet without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ghabaray

edit

Ghabaray (ɣä-bä-rej) is the proposed correct pronunciation for the word עברי. As the word Ivri/Ivrit is by Modern Hebrew pronunciation of this word. The word Ἑβραῖος (Hebraios) is a misnomer invented by the Greeks in the 3rd Century BCE because they can't pronounce the guttural sound (ie. voiced velar/pharyngeal fricative) of the letter commonly called "Ayin". In the greek word Hebraios where the English word Hebrew came from. Yaohsharalopayrh21 (talk) 09:05, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
