Dr. Abdullah Abdullah

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.afghan-web.com/bios/today/aabdullah.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:42, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah

edit

A tag has been placed on Dr. Abdullah Abdullah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 1.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Dr. Abdullah Abdullah do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Two problems:
1. Your working in his campaign constitutes a conflict of interest, which is a violation of Wikipedia policies. It would be best if you did no further work on this article. This may result in the article being deleted, as it is seen as being promotional, which is strictly forbidden in all circumstances.
2. The Wikipedia Manual of Style dictates that honorific titles such as "Dr." be used only on first reference, and that on subsequent references the surname be used only. Please do not change this again. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 02:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
