Welcome
editHello, ZHANGQI1066! Welcome to Wikipedia! It appears that you are here to participate in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia's page for questions. You can also ask me by visiting my user talk page and leaving a message, or you can ask your question on this page by editing it and placing {{Help me}}
before your question. Please make sure that you sign your messages on discussion pages, which is done by entering four tildes (~~~~) at the very end of it; this will automatically insert your username and the date. I also highly recommend that you review the advice for students page.
Before you create an article, make sure that you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one, please tell your instructor about creating one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know that the article is a subject of an educational assignment as well as aid your communication with them.
Here are some more pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page (editing policy)
- Introduction to Wikipedia
- Help pages index
- Visual editor tutorial
- Wikitext tutorial (if you're choosing to edit pages using the Wikitext source code instead of the VisualEditor)
- Wikitext cheatsheet
While editing:
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Be bold, but do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- Provide reliable sources to the content you add. If you are adding biomedical information, please follow this guideline.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!

editMy friend, the translation is very well done, but it still needs to be complemented with illustrations for enhancement. HYH031277777 (talk) 13:07, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

editDear ZHANGQI
I read both of your wiki articles.,Hangzhou Daily and Chinese influence on Japanese culture
Both articles were pretty well translated, Hangzhou Daily gave me a good overview of its history, and the second article on China's influence on Japanese culture would have been better if there were more pictures to compare.
Also, both posts are in draft stage, so remember to post them, and have a great weekend. LIYULUN (talk) 04:34, 17 May 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I read both of your articles(Chinese influence on Japanese culture and Hangzhou Daily). Your articles are well translated, but a few more content-related images and reliable quotes would have made them better. Rachel.zrq (talk) 14:12, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

editThe structure of your article is already very clear, and each part is closely related to the topic. However, I think it would be easier for readers to understand your ideas if you could add a short summary sentence at the beginning of each paragraph. For example, you can Add an overview at the beginning of the second paragraph to better guide the reader. Mcx8202229 (talk) 05:11, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
June 2024
editHello, I'm Amigao. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, History of Chongqing, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Amigao (talk) 20:59, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Amigao. I apologize for not providing a reliable source. I will add appropriate references and re-edit the article as soon as possible. Thank you for your reminder and patience! But the content I added yesterday was translated through the Chinese Wikipedia "Chongqing History" this semester, so I don't think there is a reliable source. Because without reliable sources, the Chinese Wikipedia article "Chongqing History" would not exist. This is my final assignment for this semester, and I would like to inquire if I can share my understanding of the content of the Chinese Wikipedia ZHANGQI1066 (talk) 09:21, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
