help
i need help for a review of this article (for fac, because i never done these). can you give me a few tips on how to do a featured article candidate review? brachy08 (chat here lol) 00:54, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Brachy0008: just try to offer some prose comments. Like removing redundant words or making sentences less complex. The least and easiest you can do is an image review; ensure that most media is free-use (under a creative commons license or in public domain) or has a fair-use rational.--ZKang123 (talk) 01:16, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- thx for the help =D brachy08 (chat here lol) 10:21, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Invitation to Project 1989
Hey, hey, hey! Just thinking while you've been getting down with all these article reviews and DYK nominations in this platform, so I have invited you to this. sick. project.
All puns aside, I, have invited you to join my little project, Project 1989, which is made to expand Wikipedia's coverage of Taylor Swift's 1989 era. It would mainly focus on creating articles and improving them to GA/FA statuses, but given your track record with articles on Wikipedia, I know places where you can put your experience to good use.
Interested? Drop by this project's article and sign your name on the list, there is too many blank spaces there. You can still help out a bit if you want to. Thanks! brachy08 (chat here lol) 02:39, 24 July 2024 (UTC)

Guide on Good MRT Essay Clairfication
Hi, right now I'm working on Tanjong Katong MRT station. I read through your guide on how to write good articles for MRT stations and I have a question for you:
Can I write which platforms lead to which terminal? I know you said to not include station layouts and platforms but you only specify it for diagrams so I'm not sure if it applies to the station details part.
Please let me know. Other than that, good job on your draft for the art and architecture of the MRT system. Might I suggest adding murals to the article? There are murals in the TEL4 stations which are not related to the Art-In-Transit Programme. @Imbluey2: Sorry was busy for a while and almost forgot about this. I suggest looking at what I've done for Katong Park MRT station. Giving your work at a glance, you're doing rather well, though personally I would put the history before the details. No, I won't recommend writing which platforms lead to which terminal unless it's explicitly stated in the sources, which as far as I know they didn't. I just would point out some minor formatting nitpicks, such as references needing to be after punctuation (e.g. .[1]). But really great job; I haven't got the time to edit the other TEL4 articles.
I know there's gift of art, and even Marina Bay MRT station mentioned other artworks that aren't officially part of the programme. That art and architecture article has a long way to go tbh. But I don't mind slowly putting together bits and pieces as long as these murals are mentioned in their respective articles and cited.--ZKang123 (talk) 11:49, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for the clarification! Maybe one day Tanjong Katong MRT station can become a good article. As for your art and architecture article, I have sources for the murals:
- Tanjong Katong: https://www.tkgs.moe.edu.sg/riding-the-waves-of-change/
- Marine Parade: https://www.murallingo.com/marine-parade-mrt
You should also add images for the art-in-transit artworks (although that may be infeasible) as well as the medium of the artwork(talk) 12:54, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

DYK for Buangkok MRT station
On 8 August 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Buangkok MRT station, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that eight cardboard white elephants were put up as a form of public protest to lobby for the opening of Buangkok MRT station in Singapore? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Buangkok MRT station. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Buangkok MRT station), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

How to retrieve passenger count for each MRT station
Hi ZKang123, thank you for your wonderful contributions to MRT-related articles. I'd like to know how you retrieved the passenger count for each MRT station (e.g. 2,178 per day for Marina South Pier MRT station), because I couldn't find it on the attached DataMall website (https://datamall.lta.gov.sg/content/datamall/en.html). Thank you! Theknine2 (talk) 19:51, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Theknine2: On the website you need to request for API access, then you check the documentation, where there are instructions on how to retrieve the numbers (page 24).--ZKang123 (talk) 04:26, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
