Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to WALL-E (soundtrack) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.   Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Alientraveller (talk) 11:31, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Let me enlighten you. Disney have never stated the budget for the Pirates sequels because they went overbudget and did not want that to affect their stock. There's nothing odd about a film having an unknown budget. Alientraveller (talk) 11:45, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Edward Zwick.jpg

edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Edward Zwick.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:15, 12 October 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SkierRMH (talk) 06:15, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Repost of Nottingham (film)

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Nottingham (film), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Nottingham (film) was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Nottingham (film), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Edward Zwick

edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images, however, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded, specifically Edward Zwick, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reason, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 12:24, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Tomas Arana. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Thanks for uploading Image:Ftbt.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Image problems

edit

You've uploaded some images with incorrect license information. For example, Image:E12.jpg is the logo for Apple, and Image:Ojhhie.jpg is a screenshot from a copyrighted film. In both cases, you added the {{PD-self}} tag. This tag is only to be used if you are the copyright holder, which is clearly not the case. You may find Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Non-free content useful to read. If you have copyright-related questions, Wikipedia:Media copyright questions can help. Please fix the licensing on your uploaded images, or they will be deleted. Pagrashtak 13:08, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have listed some of your image uploads at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. If you continue to falsely claim you own the copyright to uploaded images when you do not, you may be blocked. Pagrashtak 14:37, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please consider this your final warning with regard to uploading copyrighted images. If you continue to do so, your account will be indefinitely blocked from editing. Copyright violations put the project at risk for lawsuits and will not be tolerated. - auburnpilot talk 20:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

In response to your email, let me make something clear to you: stating that you will simply create sockpuppets if this account is blocked is the absolute last thing that will help you avoid a block. In fact, it is one step in the direction of a ban, which would allow us to revert all your edits and block you on sight without warning. Do not do something that stupid. - auburnpilot talk 21:27, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Tomas Arana

edit

The article Tomas Arana has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
