Edit war warning

edit

Your recent editing history at Insomnia shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Proposed deletion of GSK1004723

edit

Hello, Zakblade2000. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, GSK1004723, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Ways to improve 3,3,5-Trimethylcyclohexyl 3-pyridyl methylphosphonate

edit

Hi, I'm Graeme Bartlett. Zakblade2000, thanks for creating 3,3,5-Trimethylcyclohexyl 3-pyridyl methylphosphonate!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I see some very similar content and a hand drawn diagram at https://deskgram.org/p/1849468400187994166_6004527248 . Is this your work? (from zwclose7) https://www.instagram.com/zwclose7/ . Apart from the patent I see only this and very little, so do you have more references handy perhaps using another name for the chemical?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. For the chemical specific issues, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemicals is the prime place for discussion. Synthesis routes

edit

Hi Zakblade2000. Thank you for all your edits, it is good to see someone making lots of new pages about noteworthy compounds. I must draw your attention however to the policy WP:NOTCOOKBOOK which encompasses synthetic routes for chemical compounds. The longstanding consensus is that editors are encouraged for each compound to say what precursors it is made from, what chemical reactions are used to combine them together, and ideally draw a pictorial representation of the synthetic route. What is not allowed however is exact volumes, weights, temperatures and reaction times and so on, this is considered to be not encyclopedic material for which the reader should consult the references provided. Refer to pages such as VX_(nerve_agent)#Chemistry for a good example of the accepted way of providing such information. Cheers, Meodipt (talk) 10:32, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Carbamates named under CWC

edit

Hi Zakblade. Just looked up the new additions to the CWC seeing as Novichok agents are back in the news again following the Navalny poisoning, and I noticed there are a couple of carbamate nerve agents specifically listed in Schedule 1 that you don't seem to have catalogued here, similar in structure to EA-3990 but not quite the same (see here). Don't suppose you have code numbers or references for these ones "CWC 1A16-1 Example 1" and "CWC 1A16-2 Example 1"? Probably sufficiently noteworthy to warrant their own pages now that they are specifically listed, if you have time to look them up. Cheers Meodipt (talk) 20:50, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Screenshot of Process Hacker.png

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Screenshot of Process Hacker.png, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of UDP Unicorn

edit

The article UDP Unicorn has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and stuff

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 20 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
