How is it not a disco song? -GTBacchus(talk) 14:22, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please see my reply to you at Talk:I Was Made for Lovin' You. We have sources calling it a disco song. Why are you so adamant that it's not? -GTBacchus(talk) 22:35, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- I have provided a source for it being a disco song, and I have sought dialogue. If you want to convince people that your edit should stand, you've got to explain yourself. When we have a source saying that the song is disco, then why should we say otherwise? Please see Talk:I Was Made for Lovin' You. -GTBacchus(talk) 22:53, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
But its by KISS a Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal band so they cant sing disco its just wrong to lie.
- Well, you say they can't sing disco, but sources would say otherwise. How do you know you're right? -GTBacchus(talk) 08:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Why
editWhy can't a hard rock band sing disco? -GTBacchus(talk) 02:34, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Because that would be gay.
Are you serious? -GTBacchus(talk) 08:30, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
no im sarcastic. hard rock/metal are mortal enemies with dsco so jeez let it be.
Do not change the genre for this song again you have been at this for years now ,i will seek a long term block on you if you do, you clearly have an obsession with this genre issue, where time and time again ,it has been explained to you that, there are sources that state it is a Disco song, not to mention the band itself have said it was their attempt to make a disco record,i.e they made themselves a disco record and it was a really big success in 1979,now please end this obsession because as i recall even an administrator stepped in previously to halt your POV actions!--Wikiscribe (talk) 04:13, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 08:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to I Was Made for Lovin' You, you will be blocked from editing. John Carter (talk) 18:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
its not fucking vandalism its the fucking truth for fuck sakes god no need to block a guy from editingffor some fucking stupid controbversy you win wikipedia ill tell my friends to get their infor mation some other way!!!Zakkman (talk) 18:36, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please refrain from obscenity as well, as that can also result in your being blocked. The facts are that the writer of the song himself says it is a disco song. Unless you can produce verifiable sources which indicates otherwise, the content is more than justified, and removal of sourced content to conform an article to a given parties point of view is vandalism. If you can produce evidence which refutes the sourced material, then do so. However, until such time, your comments above also clearly violate WP:CIVILITY. Please engage in reasonable, rational dialogue, rather than the almost incoherent statement above; it will serve you far better than statements such as the above. Thank you. Also, you might benefit from reviewing some of our core policies and guidelines, as are indicated in the statement below:

- You might also note that the writer of the song says he wrote it to prove how easy it is to write a disco song, indicating that the writer himself thought of it as being a disco song, if a joke disco song. Even given your comments above, that the group may disdain disco, which I personally do as well, it would certainly be possible for him to write a parody song which would still qualify as a song of that genre. John Carter (talk) 20:39, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
well yea i guess thats a given its making fun of dsco so i guess discos fine then as long as someone puts in it was making fun of disco.Zakkman (talk) 21:42, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- The article already says that the writer wrote the song to indicate how easy it is to write a disco song. If we could come up with more information than that, we could add it as well. However, we really couldn't use the phrase "making fun of" or anything similar unless we had specific sources to that effect, which I don't think we do yet. But the existing statement is I think itself a rather clear statement that the author of the song disdains disco. John Carter (talk) 21:56, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

edit This is your only warning.
The next time you make a personal attack, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 15:31, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sweet (band). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Black Sabbath Vol. 4
editI wanted to inform you that I've moved Vol. 4 back to its original name, Black Sabbath Vol. 4. The reason is simple: "Black Sabbath" is an official part of the album's name. The ultimate authority here are media references to the album, nearly all of which refer to the album formally as Black Sabbath Vol. 4. Just because a band's name is the cover art does not mean in any way that it can't be a part of the title. Xnux the Echidna 02:38, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at I Was Made for Lovin' You, you may be blocked from editing. This genre change you keep insisting on, it is beginning to get disruptive. Please refrain; there are lots of other articles that need your attention. This one doesn't. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
