File source problem with File:477px-Margaret Atwood Eden Mills Writers Festival 2006.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:477px-Margaret Atwood Eden Mills Writers Festival 2006.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:00, 13 November 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 17:00, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Zeidan87! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 331 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Mohammad Shaheen - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Azmi Bishara, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Colonial, Palestine and Equality (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Syria TV (Private) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Syria TV (Private), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thank you DannyS712. I'm trying to add more citations indeed, and I will do shortly. This channel is pro the revolution in Syria, and it is opposing the Syrian regime. Many people I work with and don't know Arabic ask me about this channel, that is trying to occupy a new space in the media landscape related to Syria. That's why I thought Wikipedia is the place to start an article about it. I hope to fix the article and add more to it, so it meets wikipedia's guidelines. Thanks again. I also noticed that there is a dedicated article on wikipedia English about Media of Syria, in which they discuss the media channels that support the "revolution" in Syria and are opposed to the regime of Bashar Alassad. I believe that the addition of Syria TV (private) also helps acquaint the readers with one of the main satellite channels of interest to the Syria people, inside Syria and abroad.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ultrasawt

edit

Hello Zeidan87,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ultrasawt for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hello Zeidan87,

I kindly request your support in updating the page of syria TV on Wikipedia English version (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syria_TV_(Turkey) ). The Arabic version is up to date ( https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%AA%D9%84%D9%81%D8%B2%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86_%D8%B3%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7 ) but the English version is missing a lot of updates.
