Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Solidarité républicaine moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Solidarité républicaine. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and contemporary sources are rarely useful for establishing notability if they date to the 19th century.. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boynamedsue (talk) 06:19, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

i just translated the page from the french article and localized it a bit (the french articles almost never specify that its the "FRENCH" second republic, they just say second republic).
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solidarité_républicaine
theres also a page on the italian wiki https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_della_Solidarietà_Repubblicana Zenryzap (talk) 12:52, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
it is a very shitty article but i just didn't want to find more sources, i can if you want, but if two wikis think its fine, i think its ok Zenryzap (talk) 12:53, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

John Kiriakou

[edit]

You have already been reverted by another editor, but let me clarify that MOS:ETHNICITY applies; same for my own previous reverts about the same issue. Yes, he is a Greek American, and also has dual citizenship, but this has nothing to do with his notability. Likewise, we don't introduce Yanis Varoufakis as a Greek or a Greek Australian, or even as a Greek and an Australian. I could list numerous other examples as well. Please, read the aforementioned guideline again, and do not restore this without consensus. Thank you. – Demetrios1993 (talk) 07:24, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Solidarité républicaine (August 2)

[edit]
Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, Robert McClenon, left the following feedback:
This draft appears to be a duplicate of an existing article. Wikipedia does not permit multiple articles on the same topic.
  • To improve the existing article, please edit it directly at Solidarité républicaine. If the article is protected and you cannot edit it, propose your changes on the article's talk page.
  • If you are writing about a different subject with the same name, ask the reviewer to rename your draft to distinguish it.
Two copies of this page have been created, in draft space and in article space. It is not necessary to create two copies of the same page, and it annoys the reviewers.

If the article either is ready for the encyclopedia or appears to be ready for the encyclopedia, the draft will be redirected to the article. However, the article could have been moved into article space instead.

If the article does not appear to be ready for the encyclopedia, the article may be nominated for deletion, and the draft will be kept.

This draft is either essentially the same as the article with the same name, or a subset of the article with the same name. The draft will be replaced by a redirect from draft space to the article.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Solidarité républicaine to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
