Draft:PyOpus

edit

Hi there. Unfortunately I have removed some text from this draft that was taken from the PyOPUS site because per our guidelines on compatible licenses, text that is released under a GNU-only license (including GPL v3) is not compatible with Wikipedia; it also needs to be released under a Creative Commons license, CC BY or CC BY-SA (not including CC-BY-SA 4.0). Sorry if this seems overly bureaucratic. Summarizing the information in original prose would be good, and I'm guessing probably easier than getting the licensing changed. Hi Dan!
Sure, I understand, my mistake. I was working on the PyOpus draft offline months ago, and started a Wiki draft only yesterday. I had a plan to cross check with existing manuals (PyPi) to figure out where I left the work. I was not aware that the rules apply to a draft, too (specially so fresh one).
I will summarize the info and submit to a draft again.
Meanwhile, would you check another draft that has been under AfC for some weeks? It is about a free circuit simulation tool called SpiceOpus. Draft:SpiceOpus
Since you are an experienced editor, maybe your sharp eye would spot something that needs to be addressed before publication. Thanks!
