Welcome!
Additional tips:
- Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
- Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
- You might want to add yourself to the New User Log.
- If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language.

Please don't vandalise the Wikipedia. Secretlondon 18:12, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been removed. Please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will be removed quickly. Please see the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Lupin 16:47, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
Please stop vandalising
editI saw your creative image editing on Tony Blair, and I was surprised it hadn't been reverted earlier. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --NicholasTurnbull 01:50, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I was having a bad day. Feeling much better now.
GOOD, have a biscuit and a cup of tea, then check your user page. Always best to be calm dear.
- Tsk Tsk ... temper, temper. Now, now, calm down. (By the way, what are you doing out of your cot at 3.11am in the morning?) --Zippydeedoodah 22:04, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
Re: Nice Language
editPlease refrain from abusive language in your posts, it is neither helpful nor mature. You must learn to humour (clue to location) hitshead danvals like me. --Zippydeedoodah 21:59, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
- Dear Zippydedoodah: I have never used abusive language in my posts either on Wikipedia or elsewhere, and make it a particular point never to do so. I never use abusive language either when writing or in conversation. Here are the diffs of the two edits I made to your user page: [1] and [2]; you can verify for yourself that neither of these edits contained abusive language. Please substantiate your statement by providing a link to the diffs of my edits that contained such language, as I do not take such suggestions lightly. Please look through my edit history; I can assure you that you shall find no abusive language in my edits. Perhaps you may have mistaken someone else's edits for mine? Best regards, NicholasTurnbull 22:24, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
- yes, I see now that it was A.N.Other abuser, apols offered on your talk page. --Zippydeedoodah 10:12, 1 August 2005 (UTC)

Image:Tiny Boilers.jpg has been listed for deletion
editAn image or media file you uploaded, Image:Tiny Boilers.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. |
Zippydeedoodah, would you please be so kind as to tell me what this image is all about? You uploaded it previously, but it is still "orphaned" and it doesn't appear to have any encyclopaedic value (the caption "Tony Blair's alter ego" doesn't really suggest an encyclopedic usage). If there is a special reason for it being uploaded, please state so in the image summary to stop it being deleted. Thanks :-) Best regards, --NicholasTurnbull 01:47, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
