Function Details: Detect link spam by checking if a link or domain has been added multiple times by the same user. Automatically detects if an article is notable or not (experimental and no modifications will be done on the articles found to be non-notable). Check the overall tone of an article to detect POV (experimental and no modifications will be done on the articles).

edit- How will you define if an article is 'notable' or has a neutral point of view? Furthermore, the BRFA page should be edited with your main (operator) account, not the bot account (every bot owner must have two separate accounts, one for the bot and one for their own edits). - Sorry about that - I'll use my main account from now on. Do I need to give the details of the implementation to get the bot approved? If possible, I would prefer not to share my ideas right now, or at least wait until the bot is ready. Technically, there will be some text analysis to find out the tone of the article, but I won't make any edits on the articles as any results won't be accurate enough. I'd be developing the bot half for fun, half because it could help detecting certain POV or lack of notability. I'm just curious to see how it would work. Laurent (talk) 18:08, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
