OriginalWhite Fawn's Devotion is a 1910 American short dramatic silent film. Directed and written (though uncredited) by James Young Deer, he is believed to be the first Native American film director. The movie was added to the United States National Film Registry in 2008.
Reason
One of the few surviving films by James Young Deer, this is also one of the earliest films acted by Native Americans. This has high EV to its article and is in the public domain. Overall a very historical example of early film making.
