editGadget Code
editExcuse me, but where is the source code for the Twinkle gadget? Gratefully, -PRAHLADBalaji 08:34, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Prahlad balaji: According to the "Quick Info" box at Wikipedia:Twinkle, the source code is in this GitHub repository -- John of Reading (talk) 08:50, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- See Special:Gadgets for the code used by Wikipedia's gadgets. Special:Gadgets#gadget-Twinkle shows a lot of files which are also linked at https://github.com/azatoth/twinkle#manual-synchronization. PrimeHunter (talk) 14:58, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

The remains of Jezebel
editI don't see in any other place in the Bible where there are remains of a person akin to the death of Jezebel. Is there some significance to those remains?Donald Rogers Sr (talk) 16:37, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[1] 9:35

Abnormally large amount of 'automatically' created new accounts
editI've noticed when going through the new users log that there is a much larger amount of new accounts being created today, most of wich were created 'automatically'. I'm not sure what this means, but I have not seen this volume of accounts created in the months I've been monitoring this list. Of interest is the periods in time Example where many of the new accounts start with the same letters. Is there a known process behind this, or is it possible that something is mass creating accounts? LynxTufts (talk) 17:37, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- I assume the issue discussed at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Edits (rather than the text of edits) being imported into Wikipedias of other languages and phab:T181731 has reached the English Wikipedia. An automatic process is creating accounts for users who in the past had edits imported from other wikis without having an account here. The imported edits may not show up in user contributions but the users may appear somewhere in page histories. PrimeHunter (talk) 17:54, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
Moving content from one article to another
editWhen I think content of an article should better be moved to another, what is the proper way to do so? Case in question is the section PS, I Love You (novel) #Differences between novel and film adaptation which IMHO belongs in the film article. The section has been added 10 years ago by an IP who never contributed again. --KnightMove (talk) 18:44, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
