editHow to delete my account
editHow do I terminate my account? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.186.12.148 (talk) 01:46, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- You can't delete an account. Just stop using it. RudolfRed (talk) 02:49, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Please refer me to an interest group in Latin American art, thank you
editHi guys: I would appreciate being referred to a group of editors interested in Latin American art. Thanks. Neuralia (talk) 08:00, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Ref number 20 is all wrong - it is a map. Please get it right and include quote. Thanks and sorry 175.33.248.139 (talk) 08:42, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- What's wrong with it? Looks correct to me. The quote is contained on the detail surrounding the map (on the Plodda Falls section). ~~ OxonAlex - talk 10:38, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- Looks OK to me too. There was a typo - "Parliamnet" - which I've corrected. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 11:27, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Ref number 20 quote should be spelt "from" not "form". Please fix - I cannot. Thanks 175.33.248.139 (talk) 12:12, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Purpose of wikipedia ?
editI supposed the purpose of Wikipedia is to be neutral and spread knowledge, right? Now the article I add https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bold_for_Delphi was deleted.
Ok, I understand space in Wikipedia is not unlimited. But I would say that information is valuable. There are not many ORM frameworks for Delphi and Bold is without doubts the oldest and most mature. Then about missing references. Yes, there is not much information about it. Some links. A site in web archive etc. Unfortunately, it is closed source. The latest public release was with Delphi 7 around 2005. But I work with the framework every day and think it is too good to be forgotten.

- Hello, D98rolb. The purpose of Wikipedia is to summarise information on subjects which are notable, i.e., which independent writers have already thought it worth writing about, Not every company, band, program, album, etc meets that criterion. Since a Wikipedia article is basically not interested in what the subject of the article (or people close to that subject) say or want to say, but only in what independent commentators have published about it, if a subject is not notable (in Wikipedia's sense) there is literally nothing which can go in the article, and there is no point in trying to write one. --ColinFine (talk) 18:59, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Trending articles
editHello, I have the official Wikipedia app on my phone and one of the things I like about it is the trending articles section on the front page when I open up the app. I'd love to have something at least similar to that on my PC. Any help would be appreciated. Americanfreedom (talk) 19:20, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- User:West.andrew.g/Popular pages shows the most popular pages on the English Wikipedia over the last week. The app apparently shows the most-viewed articles of the day, so this isn't exactly the same, but might be close enough. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 18:02, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
