Judge Merrick Garland voice - possible Cancer

I have NOT been able to find a contact number for Judge Merrick Garland - the future Attorney General after hearing his brief Television comments about being selected by Press-elect Joe Biden, I have noted he has a coarseness to his voice and being a physician and having heard this before, I felt it was incumbent upon me to indicate to Judge Garland that he needs to have laryngoscopy to view his vocal cords for a nodule or even a possible cancer. These are easy to treat if caught early enough though I have not been able to find a way to contact him so that he could seek medical care. It is possible he has already been evaluated for this but maybe not.

How to make Sample redirect to different page?

How to make Sample redirect to different page? In this section we can see automorphic representation redirected to automorphic form article. How is that possible? Rizosome (talk) 05:28, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Sample is a disambiguation page. It should not be redirected. But perhaps you mean "How does one make an article title redirect elsewhere?" If so, it's simple. If a title that we'll call X should redirect to an article that we'll call Y, then you edit the article (?) Babs102020 Note that "Publish changes" should be understood to simply mean "save changes"; it does not mean "publish this to the encyclopedia". Also, it's better to think of the text as an article, not just a "page", which has a broader meaning. 331dot (talk) 10:22, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Tgambesc. Since Draft:Joseph Marion Gambescia Sr. was rejected (not just declined) by I dream of horses, I think you need to persuade that editor that you have suitable sources, since rejecting a draft means that the editor has searched for sources and has not found sufficient. @Tgambesc: The only way to salvage an article whose subject's notability has been questioned is to find and add sources that demonstrate notability by our definition: see WP:N. No notability, no article. Please see WP:AMOUNT. Do not put any further effort into the article until you have established notability. Tgambesc, It appears to me that you have neither applied the necessary changes nor have you found any notability. Please do not ignore the comments of reviewers. We review drafts because we want to accept them. It's far less effort to accept them and accepting a good draft improves Wikipedia. Fiddle Faddle 23:50, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Timtrent Sorry for confusion. I was simply asking how to re-submit. Based on our earlier conversation I think understand what needs to be done now. I have several changes mapped out and am tracking down additional primary sources. We have a lot of sources. None of it is easily accessible for citing. Once I get that information organized I will get the page updated. It may be a few more weeks before I get it all together. I also may ask a 3rd party to help out as well. Tgambesc, I am concerned about "we". Wikipedia has a rule that a single account is operated by a single person.

I am also concerned about your potential use of "a 3rd party". If this party is paid both you and they need to read and comply with WP:PAID Fiddle Faddle 08:54, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Timtrent We = people in position of artifacts that I would like to cite. 3rd Party = volunteers have offered to proof read the final article. I do not plan on paying any one.

Tgambesc Primary sources do nothing to establish notability, and in fact must be used carefully: see WP:PRIMARY. Do not proceed until you have established notability. You establish notability by citing at least three suitable sources. This is easy to mess up: see Wikipedia:Common sourcing mistakes (notability). Finding the reason for a blacklisting

Dear Help desk,

A site I was thinking about linking from appears to be blocked but I cannot find it in the blacklist logs etc. which I struggle to navigate. Can anyone help me find the discussion around its blacklisting?

@Jontel: It's caught by .*\.(ga|cf|ml|gq|online|site)/.*?\d{4,5}[-/]\d{1,2}[-/]\d{1,2}.* at MediaWiki:Spam-blacklist. It's apparently a wide net to stop spam mentioned at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Isla Riordan/Archive. Your link pattern with online was first included in [1] by MER-C. It's the site of Gilad Atzmon so you could post a request at MediaWiki talk:Spam-whitelist to whitelist all links to gilad.online. Hello, Prinnymoni. You can ask for your username to be changed at CHU, but since you haven't made any other edits from this account, the easiest thing to do is to abandon that account and create a new one with the name you want.

However, you talk about "starting the bio", and about the name, and that suggests to me that you intend to write about yourself on Wikipedia. If that is indeed your intention, then please don't: find somewhere else to write about yourself. Autobiography is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia, and if you try, you are likely to have a frustrating and uncomfortable time, and very very unlikely to end up with something you want. If you are talking about a biography of somebody else, that is not quite so difficult, but it is still very very difficult for an experienced user to create a new article on Wikipedia, and I always advise new editors to spend a few weeks or months improving existing articles before they even try it. No 'more' option is showing in my Wikipedia sandbox page.

When the move option isn't there...

@Zo Phualva: if the "more" option isn't there, that likely means that there is simply no action to show in the associated dropdown. I assume you were looking for the move button, Only accounts that are 4 days old and have made at least 10 edits are able to move pages. Until then, the move option won't show. That being said, I am not so sure if it would be wise to move User:Zo Phualva/sandbox into article space due to all the facebook links. Facebook is usally not a reliable source, so it might be unwise. Victor Schmidt (talk) 15:34, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

I looked at the history of the article and found people adding Craig Harris as co-composer. Variety does support the claim here and there are a number of less reliable or non-independent sources making the same claim this. Valenciano (talk) 22:27, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi, Craig, if a factoid in the infobox conflicts with a sourced statement in the main text, then people are going to rightly keep on removing it. I have updated (click that link to see the changes) the prose using the Variety source that Valenciano found (thanks, V). Hello, Taipanusa. An interview (or anything else) which has not been reliably published is original research and is never acceptable as a source.
