The Twenty-eighth Filipino Wikipedians meet-up in Metro Manila (Manila 28) was held on December 21, 2024. It started at 12:00 PM and ended at 06:00 PM. It includes a as a Cultural Heritage Cruise at the Pasig River, Edit-a-thon, and Photowalk in Santa Ana, Manila.

Pilipinas Panorama Community

The event was organized by the Pilipinas Panorama Community — a thematic Wikimedia organization based in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines.

  • Disembarked at Santa Ana Station
  • Explored the Santa Ana - Punta Footbridge
  • Lunch at the famous Mecky's Pancit Palabok eatery
  • Visited Santa Ana Church (Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned)
  • Merienda of native "Puto Bumbong" yam cakes at the church plaza
  • Edit-a-thon conducted by Johnny Alegre at the Santa Ana Station for the new recruits
  • Return to Escolta Station and early supper at the famous Uno Fish Restaurant of Escolta
