Wikipedia is the most used reference site in the world but only roughly 12% of its editors are female. Coverage of female scientists, poets, engineers, and other careers is seriously lacking.
Celebrate UNL's Women's Week with us by becoming a Wikipedia editor. We welcome students of all identities to contribute to the coverage of women on the website. Our four stations cover the entire writing process: Choosing a topic, researching, writing and editing, and (of course) celebrating! For each article that is create or substantially added to, Aspen Lincoln will donate $5 to a charity that empowers women.
Join us on March 15 for snacks, Dunkin Donuts, swag, a photo booth, and Sit With Me photos.
