The Toronto WikiClub, with support from Wikimedia Canada, hosted a meetup event in January 2026 to celebrate Wikipedia turning 25! Add this page to your watchlist to stay informed.

• Date: Sunday, 18 January 2026
• Time: From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Location: One Yonge Community Recreation Centre: 24 Freeland Street, Toronto. This is a ~15-minute walk from King subway station on Line 1 Yonge–University. You may view a map or get directions.

Proposed agenda / Proposition d'ordre du jour

This event follows previous wikiclub events where the group agreed to host regular events and work together on shared goals. In this event, we want members to tell us what topics they would like presentations on. There will also be opportunities to socialize with other Wiki-editors and get advice on individual WikiProjects from experienced editors.

Bringing a laptop/tablet to edit during the event is encouraged!

    For anyone taking the LW GO train, the line is non-operational from Oakville GO to Union Station this weekend, there are express shuttle busses going from Oakville and Clarkson to Union. Edit: There is an express train from Long Branch to Union it looks like.
