I am aware the quality of prose is below par in this article. You don't need to make comments on that. What I specifically want to know in this peer review is what information should be included and in what structure. Are there sections that have been missed out that need adding? Should Islamophobia be a sub-section of Criticism of Islam? It would be appreciated if you could reply. Other comments are also welcome. Dev920 (Tory?) 15:56, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
A word that pops into my head regarding a Muslim's lot in life: Khalifah. Simply, what does it mean for a Muslim to submit to Allah? Wiki-newbie 16:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see why you don't start an FA drive? It will be tough, but once you achieve it (you'll have support and help of course) you'll have something defensible against vandalism and edit wars. For improvement, consider emulating Sikhism, which is a featured article. Rama's arrow 18:22, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Start one if you would like. I don't understand what you are talking about. Dev920 (check out this proposal) 20:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think you meant improvement drive. I have nominated Islam there. Dev920 (check out this proposal) 12:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

I have other recommendations: write some information on Halal, and write about Zakat and various other similiar elements, like the sacrificing of animals after a birth of a child and various charities. If the Qur'an is also the final word of Allah, I wonder if you could write on how Muslims feel it is compatible with science. Wiki-newbie 14:53, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Also, there isn't a lot on Muhammad (pbuh) or the 'Peace be upon him' stuff, as well as how he's the final Prophet. The Islamaphobia section should be purged into the Critisism section, and we need more simply on everyday life for Muslims (like the five daily prayers), how Islam is a peaceful religion, people influenced by it for good and bad. Good luck! Wiki-newbie 14:57, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. Khlaifah can be added as a sub-section of sharia. I can add halal to the practices, and Qu'ran versus science can go into Qu'ran. The thing about Muhammed is: is he a part of Islam as a religion, or merely an important part of it's founding? Dev920 (check out this proposal) 21:03, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I've added Islamic dietary laws, and the caliphate. The things about charities and sacrificing animals after births don't seem terribly relevant though. Dev920 (check out this proposal) 21:40, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Mohammad (pbuh) is the prophet of Islam, therefore he is neither an important part of it's founding or a part of Islam as a religion, he is merely the vessel that God's word came down to humanity in. razi shaban 12:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
OK, it was just a suggestion for how Muslims use their religion in everyday life. For example, in Britain, I hear HSBC has a Halal account. As for Muhammad, here's the term I recall, sunnah, where he is the model Muslim. Wiki-newbie 10:01, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have added a section on Muhammed into the beliefs section and a subsection to that on Hadith. Other thoughts from reviewers would be welcome.Dev920 (check out this proposal) 12:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

I think that this article needs a lot more on anti-Islamic points of view, seeing as the west has a lot of it. I think that we should push for an improvement drive to get more Muslim and anti-Muslim points of view in there on the current status of Islam. razi shaban 12:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
