It's "Fjortis Dunk" by Basshunter. (song credits are given at the end of the clip)---Sluzzelin talk 05:34, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can't remember this game =

edit

The game i am thinking of is a Action Role-Playing game, The plotline goes along the lines of trying to reassemble a shield that was split into four parts after it was sundered by a massive sword. The sword was re-found and given to some big ass dude at the end.

From what i remember one of the bosses in game is a dragon which you shoot down with a balista. Can anyone please help me out with this? It's on the tip of my tongue and i really need to find out what this game is called.

Another boss is like a giant massive tree creature. Catman503 (talk) 02:12, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Playstation 2 fps?

edit

Hello. I'm looking for a first person shooter for the playstaion 2 that has great splitscreen/online multiplayer action. Specificly I am looking for one on one action in large open envirements , with good graphics. Thank you very much for listening and I would appreciate any recomendation (Sighnhands (talk) 15:57, 21 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

A popular one is Call of Duty 3 or there is also Medal of Honor: Vanguard, but you should also check out the List of PlayStation 2 games article for more choices.--Dlo2012 (talk) 01:21, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't Timesplitters 1 and 2 qualify? You can also search video game sites by genre. For example all PS2 FPS can be found on IGN here: [1] --70.167.58.6 (talk) 20:27, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you all very much for all your recomendations, I really do appreciate it. I just want to clarify, do all of these games have one on one online multiplayer , because that's the main thing I'm looking for. Once again , thank you for your help (Sighnhands (talk) 17:43, 23 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Go with COD3, great game. Its online is pretty fun (much like BF2 with infantry and tanks). And you can just make a private match for one on one. БοņёŠɓɤĭĠ₳₯є 02:39, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrics to Johnny Mercer's "Tangerine"

edit

Song says that if her lips of flame keep their color, "Louis Phillippe's to Blame". I can find no ref to Louis Phillippe as a lipstick or other cosmetic. I'm sure this was a funny line to insiders but it's meaning has been lost over time. Anyone know?152.133.13.1 (talk) 18:27, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The correct spelling, "Louis Philippe," will get you many Google hits, such as this. Deor (talk) 18:42, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, sure, if you Google "Louis Philippe" correctly spelled, you get tens of thousands of pages about the 19th-century King Of France (or King Of The French, I'm not sure what they were calling him at the time), but there's nothing in all the hits that would explain why a 19th-century French King is to blame for the fact that "the color keeps". Rather than just pointing us to a link which went dead before I clicked it (The page "http://www.tomfolio.com/bookdetailssu.asp?b=41653&m=40" no longer exists and reroutes to "http://www.tomfolio.com/"), why not just tell us in your own words (which will stay here forever) why Louis-Philippe would be mentioned along with the likes of Daché and Macy's Mezzanine in a song about a woman's fashion choices?2600:8804:8C40:401:1C64:8308:33BC:E2D6 (talk) 06:00, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Christopher Lawrence Simpson[reply]

DVD releases of family films

edit

I hope there's been a DVD release of Dirt Bike Kid, starring Peter Billingsley. If there is, that's great. Since Little Marines and Little Marines 2 were released as a 2-disc DVD set, I'm also hoping the same thing would be done for Skateboard Kid and Skateboard Kid 2. If there's anyone out there who feels the same way I do, please let me know. Thank you.72.229.136.18 (talk) 21:29, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

amazon has one for sale at [2], but it's $115. Corvus cornixtalk 04:36, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dennis Cometti's music

This might be a stretch, but I watched a rpt of Who do you think you are?: Dennis Cometti on SBS television (australia) and wonder if anyone knows what operatic piece was played during the segment where he visits Terino in Italy? Thanks, Julia Rossi (talk) 22:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
