The article is valid because describes all the innovations that stitch.com introduced throughout the years and lists the most important ones that changed and revolutionized the craftwork – textile area. -Fasukus (talk) 10:10, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G11, indicating an page that was irredeemably promotional or blatant advertising. Note that G11 deletions are more an issue with the tone of the page as opposed to its sources or formatting. As articles deleted under G11 need to be rewritten from scratch, they will not be undeleted here or anywhere else; try contacting the deleting administrator (Deb (talk · contribs)) in order to be emailed a copy of the article as it stood at time of deletion. In fact, I am amazed this title has not been salted yet! —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 18:08, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:32, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Matt Bradley (musician)

Matthew Bradley was a known musician in the progressive rock scene. He participated on albums projects such as Explorers Club and Dali's Dilemma, both from Magna Carta Records.

I resent the fact this page has been deleted without any discussion on the matter. At the moment the page was just a stub, and I was collecting material to expand the page further. -Pinnecco (talk) 08:18, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

A3 deletions are not overturned here. Might I suggest going through the drafting process instead? —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 18:12, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Hey Pinnecco. Even though you asked for direct undeletion, I have instead userfied it to Draft:Matt Bradley (musician) so you can work on it a bit before submitting it for review (by adding {{subst:submit}} to the top of the page) or by a move to the mainspace. We do expect content already in place that satisfies some basics of our policies at the time of creation. It's really the only effective way we can operate because we get thousand of page creations per day, and a vast number of them are entirely unsuitable for the encyclopedia. The only way we can manage the firehose of stuff coming at us is to designate certain types of pages as able to be deleted immediately if they don't meet some basic standards from the get go. That being said, I have doubts that an article is sustainable on this topic at least based on what I saw thus far, on notability grounds. That is not a reflection on the individual's merit but whether he belongs in an encyclopedia because the world has taken note of him by writing about him substantively in reliable sources. Best regards--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:04, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

All of the draft article's references are to the company website or its Facebook, except one which does not mention Vanguard; but Wikipedia requires references showing significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources, both to establish notability and to provide independent sources for an article. Antoine_Fadavi

This page was deleted due to a false copyright infringement. The bio written is the Wikipedia article is taken from the site www.antoinefadavi.com, which is not copyrighted, so free to use on any platforms. -88.164.12.192 (talk) 09:37, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Not done. Hello. All sufficiently unique expression is automatically granted non-free copyright and must be assumed to have that status unless affirmative evidence is found to the contrary (there is no need to place a copyright symbol for this to be true). If you are the copyright owner then you can release the copyright under a suitably free license or into the public domain, but that would have to be done in a verifiable way, such as placing that release on the external website. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more. However, the content could not have been used unmodified even without the copyright issue as it was quite promotional.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 11:20, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello. I placed the public domain copyright license on every pages of http://www.antoinefadavi.com/wordpress/. Please let me know about how to continue the un-deletion process.

  Not done for multiple reasons:
  • The article would be quickly deleted again at WP:AFD due to lack of any evidence of notability, and lack of evidence that Antoine Fadavi meets any of the criteria spelled out in WP:MUSICBIO. It is not worth restoring pages that have no hope of being kept. See Wikipedia:Golden rule for a general overview of what is expected.
  • It appears to be written by the subject for the purpose of self-promotion or publicity. Wikipedia is not to be used for publicity, and Wikipedia:Autobiographies are strongly discouraged. Please see WP:COI for further guidance.
  • A statement that the website is "free of known copyright restrictions" is not the same as releasing it under an acceptable free license or stating outright that it is public domain.
You are welcome to try to re-create the article via the process described at WP:AFC, which is really the best venue for an author with a conflict of interest. ~Amatulić (talk) 05:54, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

I would like request that the deleted content be emailed to me so the content can be improved upon prior to republishing on Wikipedia -76.124.195.246 (talk) 16:31, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Not done, but I will do it if you register an account, or sign in if you have one, and enable email, which you do by clicking "Preferences" at the top of the screen, and then at the bottom of the "User profile" tab enter your email address (which will not be visible) and check the box marked "Enable email from other users".
If you prepare a new version based on the old one, you should not simply post it (a) because the old one was deleted at WP:Articles for deletion/Global Traveler, and (b) because a history-merge will be necessary to ensure that contributions from earlier authors are properly attributed. You should make a page at Draft:Global Traveler and then apply at WP:Deletion review giving a link to it. JohnCD (talk) 20:55, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

@Pvetch:   Not done. That was a copyright violation from https://www.cmscritic.com/dir/products/wagtail/, but quite apart from that it was not an encyclopedia article, it was a blatant advertisement, full of glowing adjectives: "fast, powerful and elegant... unrivalled user experience... lightning fast... slick, responsive UI..." etc. Anything like that is deleted from Wikipedia at sight. If you can show significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources to establish WP:Notability, you are welcome to try again, but you will need to start with a clean sheet. I, Shadid200, request the undeletion of this Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Shadid200 (talk) 13:07, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

@Shadid200:   Not done - this page canot be restored, even temporarily, because it is a copyright violation from http://www.qataribusinessmen.org/support/aboutqba.htm. Wikipedia cannot accept copied text without a formal copyright release from the actual copyright holder.
In any case, even if the copyright issue were resolved, this is quite unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, written in the first person ("We are very proud... Our association..." and in a highly promotional tone, full of "peacock terms". An encyclopedia is not a place for the QBA to tell the world about itself. See User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard for advice. I'm completing this for an IP that contested the deletion on my userpage. They asked for the page to be sent to them, but since it was deleted via PROD I don't see any reason not to restore it to the mainspace so they can work on it from there. I've restored it, but I'm listing it here just for records' sake. -Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:30, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

The Fabulous Dee Harrell

I was unaware that I could not use excerpts from Articles that were written about Ms. Dee Harrell. Any copyright infringement was truly unintentional. I was asked to write this article for Ms. Harrell, but there was no intentional misuse of copyright material on my part or on the part of Dee Harrell. Please restore the material that was deleted. We will delete any material unacceptable to Wikipedia. The Article written by Hoops McCann is in the possession of Ms. Harrell and can be submitted for verification should that be necessary. } — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jazzangel11 (talkcontribs) 21:06, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

@Jazzangel11:   Not done. I can't trace any deleted article by that name, nor are there any deleted articles from your account. No matter: if the deleted article contained copyright violations it cannot be restored, even temporarily.
If you are writing on behalf of Ms Harrell you have, from Wikipedia's point of view, a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and should carefully read that page and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. In brief, you need to be very careful, and should not edit directly about your client/employer, but may submit a draft using the Wikipedia:Articles for creation process, writing in your own words and not copy-pasting other people's work. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a social-networking site and is not for any kind of advertising or promotion. It requires a neutral point of view - no opinions, just plain facts about what Ms Harrell has achieved, cited to reliable sources. Read WP:Your first article for advice, and WP:MUSICBIO for the relevant WP:Notability standard. JohnCD (talk) 22:06, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Just thought I'd note that I was also searching and could find no trace, including going back in the deletion log to April 1 and looking for a partial title match.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:28, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

  • I have moved this to Draft:AdvaCare Pharma. Some language is a bit promotional, but I think it can be fixed. Also the whole article is written to describe the products to a buyer, so it should be a bit more balanced. Check with Shirt58 first to see if promotional tome has been removed, before moving it back to an article. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:14, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

The Gettysburg Address (film)

Enter your reasoning here and then click the "Save page" button below -JackSmall (talk) 05:14, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

The film is legit. The tie-in projects are legit. Check the links. The websites of the renowned companies that are affiliated with the film and the tie-in products all have pages for the projects of this initiative: Oxford University Press (https://global.oup.com/academic/product/the-gettysburg-address-9780190227449?q=conant&lang=en&cc=us), Milan Records (http://www.soundtrack.net/album/the-gettysburg-address/), Hachette Book Group (https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/none/the-gettysburg-address/9781478961062/), etc.

Furthermore, there are links that validate the film: Boston Globe article (http://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/movies/2013/08/17/four-score-and-two-guys-from-new-hampshire/F8SGFY1pXKn3Mxb7QYXHrL/story.html), other articles (http://www.seacoastonline.com/article/20130706/NEWS/307060333), many of the actor's official websites/resumes (http://www.hamiltonhodell.co.uk/cv/client_michael-c-hall_id_100169.htm), IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3066808/), etc. Also Publisher's Weekly for the tie-in book (http://www.publishersweekly.com/9780190227456).

The user that deleted this page failed to do his due diligence--but when you average one deletion every 30 seconds it's hard to do good work.

@JackSmall:   Not done For now. Please take a moment to read through WP:PSCOI and m:TOU first. Then please disclose what is your relationship to the film or the people who produce and/or market it, specifically to RisingPictureCo (now blocked) and Seanconant, who seems to have spammed the film across Wikipedia last year. Apparently this film has not been released, and in most cases such articles are incubated until they meet WP:NFILM, however in this case the correct course of action would be to have you submit a draft for review. Until you follow our conflict of interest guidelines however, we will not restore the article. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 05:31, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

It is absolutely NOT Wikipedia's policy to only include pages for films AFTER they've been released. One needs only to search most actors' personal pages to see that most of their filmographies include projects years away from completion. This is precisely why thousands of movie pages on wikipedia use the "pre-production" or "filming" status in the production year column. It is not right to discriminate against and delete wikipedia movie pages about legitimate projects. As such, The Gettysburg Address film and cast information needs to become undeleted immediately. People go to wikipedia for information such as this. Businesses and movie studios understand this, and, as such, they load the details of their projects on wikipedia for consumers and movie-goers to find. Who will tell me that The Gettysburg Address film---which releases "spring 2015" and includes a cast of 20 name celebrities--- is any less eligible for inclusion on wikipedia than a film with no confirmed cast and in pre-production and slated for release in 2017 or 2018? There are hundreds of such projects out there already with pages on wikipedia. So please don't stand on policy or COI claims. The citations and references on The Gettysburg Address film page all check out. Everything checks out. It's a desperate reach to say "the film isn't yet released so the page needs to be deleted here". If that's the case, then wikipedia must delete hundreds of its pages for movies yet to be released. It can't be both ways. We can't pick and choose by alternating criteria whose yet-to-be-released films are worthy of wikipedia pages. This is the definition of discrimination. Any user who deletes pages on these grounds should be censured at least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JackSmall (talkcontribs) 18:37, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Whether the article is kept or not does not depend on other articles but on whether it meets the notability guidelines, and whether the article meets the notability guidelines depends of course on whether it is actually there to begin with. So instead of arguing with us about that, please disclose your conflict of interest. If you are not prepared to do so or simply don't want to, then please have the courtesy to step away and wait until someone else creates it if they believe it is notable. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 22:11, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
