- Template:Second Cold War (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
This template contains topics that are speculated to be connected to Second Cold War (diff), like Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act and China–United States trade war. Only one commentator to this date mentions "trade war", according to the article. Furthermore, the template provides links of India and Japan, neither of which is connected to the main topic. As I believe, the template contains original research and undue weight, which led Template:Inter Cold War Tensions and Second Cold War and Category:Cold War II to being deleted. If this template and the (other) deleted template are deleted very similar, then WP:G4 should be invoked. George Ho (talk) 03:54, 26 September 2021 (UTC); edited, 17:01, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- Delete for the same reasons Template:Inter Cold War Tensions and Second Cold War was deleted – the template is inherently based on original research. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 05:27, 26 September 2021 (UTC)

- Delete Template is based on OR more than anything. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 17:09, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
- Just as clarifying comment to the Japan and India links - I originally included those because they represent 2 of the 4 parties to Quadrilateral Security Dialogue. While perhaps this isn't the grouping (or more precisely, perhaps the verbiage on the grouping is too charged?), I do think it would be helpful to readers to navigate between the network of post-2016 conflicts and tension centered around the China-US-Russia relationships. To offer a contrary opinion I believe most people would understand the meaning of 'Second Cold War' and see the items linked as related to that term. I would also note that policing to ensure that these topics aren't grouped is its own form of OR. An alternative index of these topics would persuade me to a 'delete' vote, for what it's worth. - Nick, policing the topics not be to OR is part of trying to distinguish what topic(s) or what has been created on Wikipedia, articles, templates, categories, etc... are in fact notable because it's supported by credible sources/research. The reason OR applies here is because it is a grouping of what seems to be related articles but are only related simply by grouping them by association of the larger tension between China and the U.S. Hong Kong and Taiwan's conflict with China has very little or nothing to do with this alleged Second Cold War between China and the U.S. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 19:24, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
