Where to get help
Now you have a basic overview of how to contribute to Wikipedia. But there is a lot more you'll learn along the way as you get started. If you need help, here are some places you can go:
- Static help
- For a more comprehensive article on how and where you can help, see contributing to Wikipedia.
- Help:Contents is the main help page that will guide you in the right direction. The help page may be reached at any time by clicking help displayed under the ► Interaction tab on the left side of all pages.
- Wikipedia: The Missing Manual is a converted book that covers most subjects, split into 21 chapters.
- Interactive help
- The Teahouse, a place for new editors to introduce themselves, ask questions, and find support from other editors
- The Help desk, where you can ask questions about how to use and edit Wikipedia
- If you place
{{Help me}}
(including the curly brackets) "then your question" on your talk page, a volunteer will visit you there! - The help channel for live chat help from other Wikipedians
