Comment: . I started a two sentence article. It shouldn't be that hard to merge the translated content in. If that's too difficult, though, just dump your text over mine and I'll readd the content I started.
Comment:The requested page has been translated for a while now, I've asked the last significant contributor to tell us if there's need for proofreading (it doesn't seem to be the case, the article is quite fine) -- Francesco Campelli (talk) 22:28, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interest of the translation: an incredible amount of information in the Italian article that would be worth translating into English so that it could then be used as the basis for translations into other languages.
Interest of the translation: The salaawa article in English is very short and here there is a couple sections of Italian that could be easily translated.
Comment:Absolutely no work done so far to translate the whole of the Italian page. Removed the "completed" setting and reverted to "1" --Campelli (talk) 23:14, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Interest of the translation: The history section of the English Wikipedia article on Corsica is very poor, and this is a major subnational entity whose history article is featured on the Italian Wikipedia.
Comment:Another page moved to "translated" with no comment, no indication of the proofreader, and much to be translated still from Italian --Campelli (talk) 23:06, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Interest of the translation: There are links between supporters at London Wasps and Stabia, Stabia being a lower league club has little to no English information about it. The plan is to get the basic information translated, and then work it up into an English article which given the information that a London Wasp supporter might need about Stabia. The idea is to allow a brief summary of information due to these links, not to track the entire Italian league!
Interest of the translation: According to Sandro Magister, a Vaticanista, Vittorio Messori is the "most translated Catholic writer in the world."[1] His books have been translated in more than 25 languages. Currently he only has a short stub in the English Wikipedia.

This article has international audience. Thanks a lot for translating.
Interest of the translation: Article was written with informations and help from mr. Rugg. I would like to have it translated to allow him to check all info are correct. en.wiki article is poor quality.
Interest of the translation: This article contains a wealth of information on a topic that doesn’t even have its own article on the English Wikipedia and has only a small section on the page Icelandic language. This would be extremely useful, especially if the Icelandic language article makes the ACID nomination in a few weeks.
Interest of the translation: no idea - can't read Italian, happened upon the page while surfing random pages. Something about being in a beauty pageant, I think.
Interest of the translation: The current article is brief, (while it is classified as a stub, it's actually a start-class article in my opinion), while the Italian article is a long, detailed, and sourced article which became a featured article in the Italian Wikipedia.
Interest of the translation: Shin Vision is a licensor and distributer of several very notable anime and manga series in Italy so it is mention in discussions about those titles; translation of the Italian article would be a good starting point for an English article on the company
Interest of the translation: There is a pathetic stub on the English wikipedia. Judging from the Italian article on him, he is quite notable, but almost all sources seem to be in Italian, so it would be very hard to create a good English article without an Italian translator.
Interest of the translation: The subject seems to be an important figure in Sardinian history. There is only a stub on en, while the it article is larger than a stub.
Interest of the translation: Ceriani is an important Italian manufacturer of motorcycle front suspension. Its products have been used by manufacturers in other countries including the United Kingdom.
Interest of the translation: An article of this name is already in the English WP but the translation is of abysmal quality. I found it in articles needing wikifying. The Italian WP article seems much better, although perhaps the English WP does not need such a long article on this recording artist who is best known in Italy.
Interest of the translation: Palazzo Giustinian is a historical landmark of Venice and its article in Italian is well-written and well-sourced. The home was the final residence of Princess Louise Marie Thérèse of France.
Comment: If possible to initiate translation, I will take on/proofread/ etc. as soon as I'm done clearing back og in translations it -> en. Thanks --Campelli (talk) 19:23, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Interest of the translation: encountered during proofreading of the article Bolzano Transit Camp - very important to the article & to post-WW II warcrime history in Italy
