The Featured article No Way Out (2004) (review page) was withdrawn as a request to appear on the main page as Today's featured article for February 15 by the nominator.
NWA Hall of Fame (review page) and List of ECW Tag Team Champions (review page) are current Featured list candidates. WCW Hall of Fame (review page) was not promoted to Featured list status; however, it has been renominated here.
Bob Holly, Rip Hawk, Swede Hanson (wrestler), Taboo Tuesday (2005), Terri Runnels, Vengeance (2006), and Wendi Richter are current Good article nominees.
Brian Adams (wrestler) (review page) is currently under Good article reassessment.
It has been proposed to merge the WWE Hall of Fame and the List of members of the WWE Hall of Fame articles. The discussion can be found here.

Based on the members list, there are currently 212 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.
There are currently 583 articles in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.

Recent Professional Wrestling News

On the January 19 episode of Raw:

CM Punk defeated William Regal to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a No Disqualification match; this win made Punk the nineteenth Triple Crown Champion.
Vince McMahon made his WWE television return after suffering an injury in a scripted accident during his Million Dollar Mania in mid-2008.

After being temporarily sidelined with a knee injury, WWE Diva's Champion Maryse made her return to WWE television on the January 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
At the Royal Rumble on January 25:

Melina defeated Beth Phoenix to win her third WWE Women's Championship.
Edge won his fourth WWE Championship by defeating Jeff Hardy.
During the Royal Rumble match:

Rob Van Dam returned to WWE for one night only by entering at number 25.
Randy Orton, who entered at number 8, last eliminated Triple H to win the match and a WWE, World Heavyweight, or ECW Championship match at WrestleMania XXV.

On January 26, Ring of Honor announced that they had signed a long-term television deal with the HDNet Fights broadcast network.
ECW General manager Theodore Long announced on the January 27 episode of ECW on Sci Fi that Matt Hardy had been released from his ECW contract and had signed with the SmackDown brand.
On the January 29 episode of Impact!, Kevin Nash made his TNA television return after being sidelined with a Staph infection.
After debating over a competitive role, it was announced on January 31 by WWE that Mickey Rourke, the star of The Wrestler, would appear at WrestleMania XXV as a guest and not as a competitor.

Consider expanding an article from the project's list of stub articles and nominating it at Did You Know?. The project's goal is to have 100 total DYKs by the end of the year.

When the title of an refers to several things, it is necessary to provide links or disambiguate the page so that readers typing in that title can quickly navigate to the article that interests them. For example: World Heavyweight Championship (WWE).
Addition of content that is likely to be challenged in an article needs to be verified with a reliable source
Do not overlink terms in an article, only make links where they are relevant to the context.
When creating an article that has an image, make sure the image is right-aligned in the lead or in the infobox, per MOS:IMAGES.
