WWE Hall of Fame and the List of members of the WWE Hall of Fame articles have been merged.
It has been proposed to merge the History of World Wrestling Federation back into History of World Wrestling Entertainment after they were split.
Based on the members list, there are currently 211 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.
There are currently 584 articles in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.
The Broken external links and Dead links tools that assisted the project in fixing external links has not been updated for a period length of time, and as a result, it is not functioning any longer.

Recent Professional Wrestling News

On February 2:

It was announced by Ring of Honor (ROH) that they would tape their first episode of ROH for HDNet on February 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia.
Former professional wrestler and football player Jim Wilson died at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

On the February 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Eve Torres made her World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in-ring television debut in singles competition in a losing effort to Michelle McCool.
On February 7:

D'Lo Brown made his debut with ROH at a live event.
Chris Jericho was involved in an altercation with a fan while leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia.
At a live event in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Steve Corino won the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship.

On February 9:

WWE announced the naming of a new Executive Vice President in Marketing, Michelle D. Wilson.
On Raw, Ric Flair made his first appearance in WWE since June 2008.

On February 10:

On ECW on Sci Fi:

Christian returned to WWE after a near four year absence.
TJ Wilson debuted under the name "Tyson Kidd".

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) released Petey Williams and Lance Rock.

Stevie Richards was featured in a video promo with Abyss on the February 12 episode of Impact!.

Editing tips

This is a section in the newsletter devoted to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.

Consider expanding an article from the project's list of stub articles and nominating it at Did You Know?. The project's goal is to have 100 total DYKs by the end of the year.
Please familiarize yourself with the general notability policy of Wikipedia. Avoid creating new articles that do not satisfy the requirements.
Addition of content that is likely to be challenged in an article needs to be verified with a reliable source
Avoid using bolding to emphasize text. See MOS:BOLD for appropriate uses of bold text.
When adding an image to an article, follow MOS:IMAGES and align the image based on the direction the subject of the image is facing.
