Scope
editThis subsection of WikiProject Prussia is a collaboration to define a structure for articles about the various Prussian districts (Kreise) over time, providing consistency between all the articles, and a standard connection to the parent and descendant articles.
This subsection was formerly known as WikiProject Prussian Kreise.
Example page

Structure
editThe article should start with a good introduction, giving name of the Kreise, location in the Prussian province and in Europe in general, bordering Kreise, provinces, seas and the like. Try to briefly describe the character of the Kreis that distinguished it from the other Kreise.

Only provide enough material on events, that happened in a sphere of which the Kreis was only a part, to show how they affected the Kreis, and go into detail only on aspects that pertain to the Kreis.
- Geography - Quick description of the Kreis's main features, climate, etc.
- (Subdivisions) - Overview of the administrative subdivisions of the country (i.e. Standesamter) Provide a table of the Standesamter, as well as a table of the communities.
