Majority
Instructors can we get a majority support on this Wikipedia_talk:Counter-Vandalism_Unit/Academy#Instructor_requirements?Dan653 (talk) 20:15, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Purpose of Page
I see no reason to limit this discussion to simply Instructors, though I do like the idea of using this Talk as a sort of "Instructor Chat" (if only to get those discussions off my talk page . Achowat (talk) 20:17, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
- That's pretty much the point, but I like the wording "instructor chat". Dan653 (talk) 20:37, 12 June 2012 (UTC) P.S. Do you support?
Numbering on the Enroll Page
I see that some of you need help learning how to number, so here you are Help:List#List_basics. "Markup" six (the second to the last in the section) is a prime example of how most of you are accidentally breaking the numbering. In a nutshell: Do not use enter unless you want the next number. Talk Pages
Memo Let's try to keep CVU buisness off of peoples talk pages (so were not scattered) and on this tp, on the enroll tp, orthis talk page (unless of course it directly deals with the person).Dan653 (talk) 00:12, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Enroll Requests, who already have RBK Rights

Rquesting to be an instructor
Hello, I would like to be an instructor to help new users fight vandalism efficiently and properly but I do not meet the last requirement of having over 40% of edits being to articles. Lately, I have been participating in a research project that has involves hundreds of edits to talkpages, thus, my article percentage has dropped significantly. Thank you for viewing my request!
Cheers,

Head Clerk Position
Hi! I am looking to become the CVUA's head clerk. This includes maintaining the enrollment page. Please vote so that we can obtain a consensus. Thank you, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 02:09, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- QuestionWhy do we need someone to maintain the status page? I think the instructors do a fine job themselves, without someone at their lead. Also, I just "maintained" the enroll page by taking down fishing, without any head person. Dan653 (talk) 02:12, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose: From what I have seen you are a good user but you can't just go and claim a position without asking the coordinators.. Cheers,
Riley Huntley (Click here to reply) 02:16, 17 June 2012 (UTC)- Comment Actually, Dan told me that if I wanted the position, I needed to get consensus on this page.Electriccatfish2 (talk) 02:28, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, we're all "clerks", as we are all allowed to , , and students, and we can all take care of the status page, so we don't need this position. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 02:33, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

- Closed as I think electric just rescinded his request and I agree that we are all clerks. Dan653 (talk) 02:46, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Open for Students
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Consensus needed to strike down "open for students" on status page and make it so the instructor has to use a number. Voting wil last until July 1 at which time consensus will be determined by Achowat and Theopolisme, as I will abstain, unless a majority of 8 votes either way is achieved before then. Dan653 (talk) 19:45, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Support While I try to assign students to instructors who do not have any students it is complicated by the fact that some people are always open. Having a number allows me and the other instructors to know if you are at your maximum number of students, unlike "open for students". Dan653 (talk) 19:45, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- Support: Great idea! I will change mine now. Cheers,

- Support This makes sense to me. --Morning277 (talk) 17:49, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Consensus Achowat and Theopolisme? Dan653 (talk) 17:53, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
- Consensus reached. Adding now to the commented out area for instructors "how to" on Status page - sorry for missing this until now! Theopolisme TALK 15:31, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Instructor?
user w.d. would like to become an instructor but is not shure what to do
- Rollbacker, contributions good, time served good. Unless Dan has an issue, you can let W.D. know to just add him or herself to the Status page. Achowat (talk) 17:38, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. Dan653 (talk) 17:53, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Will do so. W.D. 21:02, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
