- Plane probably is, but I don't think redlinking her is a good idea. You pick your fights on redlinking. If this were an article about the UDC, I might feel differently.
- 20 feet (6.1 m) square. - Ambiguous, perhaps 20 square feet (1.9 m2) or 400 square feet (37 m2) to be unambiguous.
- I believe that a somewhat larger figure for the metric would have been expressed had area been intended. Still, I've made a change.

- Borglum was busy between the passage of the bill and the end of May 1924 first with the Children's Founders Roll medal, and then with the half dollar. - Confused as to what you are trying to say here
- In all, Borglum made nine plaster models for the design. - A footnote about what was standard at the time may prove enlightening
- I'm not aware of any statistics being kept on the matter. Obviously a minimum of two, but I have no sources and I doubt records are complete. Many Mint records were destroyed in the 1970s, alas.
- Stonewall Jackson -> Why Stonewall here (yes, I know it's his nickname, but I don't recall it showing up earlier)
- Changed to "General". We call Lee "General" once. Jackson by itself may escapt the reader.
- Both Borglum and the Association made accusations of graft; - Semi-colon doesn't feel right here.

- Yes, Elgin, Illinois, Centennial half dollar there was no scandal, everything was done properly, and there were still problems,but at lease everyone was honest.
