edit- "and was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named after the U.S. state of Missouri." - this appears to be accurate but isn't sourced anywhere
- Should the grounding incident be mentioned in the lead since it's significant enough to have its own article?
- Infobox specifies that the anti-aircraft armament was Oerlikon 20 mm cannons, but the body isn't that specific
- The figures for deck and barbette armor don't seem to match between the main body and the infobox?
- The order date from the infobox should be mentioned in the main body
- " News media proclaimed her a symbol of U.S. interest in preserving both nations' independence" - DANFS states that the two nations are Greece and Turkey, but it's not clear from the article that Turkey is intended as one.
- Some of the 1984 refit details from the infobox don't seem to be cited/mentioned in the body
- There's a CN spot in the Gulf War section
- "Those familiar with the incident are skeptical of this account, however, as Jarrett was reportedly over 2 mi (3.2 km) away at the time and the characteristics of chaff are such that a Phalanx would not normally regard it as a threat and engage it." - I can't find much of this other than the distance between the two vessels in the linked source, which is a slightly-redacted official accident report. I'm considered that original research may have snuck in
- " after serving a total of 17 years of active service" - body says 16 years
- CN spot in the museum ship section
- I don't think three of the web sources are good enough quality for FA - Roadside America, A Life Aloft, and Seaforces
This looks doable, although I'm afraid I don't have much good sourcing for this one - @TomStar81, Parsecboy, and North8000: Hog Farm Talk 23:42, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
- Using books that I just bought and read, I can fix everything pre-1995.....of course everyone else is welcome to beat me to it. North8000 (talk) 00:06, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

edit- "and was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named after the U.S. state of Missouri." - this appears to be accurate but isn't sourced anywhere
- Resolved. Copied the statement to the body. Found and added a reference there. North8000 (talk) 00:51, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
- Should the grounding incident be mentioned in the lead since it's significant enough to have its own article?
- Either way, right now I'm building the grounding coverage a bit and getting it cited to Butler. I haven't looked at the article history but suspect that the reason it has a separate article is because there is such a large amount of interesting material and it needs a lot of space to really cover it. I'm near-neutral on putting it in the lead. North8000 (talk) 10:42, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Done. I put a sentence on it in the lead.North8000 (talk) 13:21, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

- Infobox specifies that the anti-aircraft armament was Oerlikon 20 mm cannons, but the body isn't that specific
- Resolved. I don't see anything that specific in the info box or in the article. Maybe someone took it out. North8000 (talk) 00:47, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- The figures for deck and barbette armor don't seem to match between the main body and the infobox?
- Done. Figured out, reconciled and sourced.North8000 (talk) 02:23, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- The order date from the infobox should be mentioned in the main body
- Done. North8000 (talk) 13:29, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
- " News media proclaimed her a symbol of U.S. interest in preserving both nations' independence" - DANFS states that the two nations are Greece and Turkey, but it's not clear from the article that Turkey is intended as one.
- Fixed. Specified both per source North8000 (talk) 02:21, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Some of the 1984 refit details from the infobox don't seem to be cited/mentioned in the body
- Fixed. I added them to the body and cited/reference them
- There's a CN spot in the Gulf War section
- Done. Tweaked it to make it cite-able, and cited it. North8000 (talk) 02:31, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

I'm considered that original research may have snuck in
- Fixed. I pared some non-verifiable material (which was also superfluous) and added extra cites on what remains. Also fixed one minor error. (changed shrapnel to debris) North8000 (talk) 19:35, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
- " after serving a total of 17 years of active service" - body says 16 years
- Fixed Took them both out. Vague summary that was not in the source nor in any source that I could find.North8000 (talk) 01:08, 3 July 2022 (UTC)

- Resolved. (by others) North8000 (talk) 02:38, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think three of the web sources are good enough quality for FA
- Roadside America

- Replaced with a better ref at the first of its three uses. North8000 (talk) 16:07, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
