Can't unblock a user longer than 50 characters.
editUTRS gets an error when you enter a username longer than 50 charcters even though usernames can be longer than 50 characters. Is this a bug or is this intentional? 1.129.110.121 (talk) 00:55, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm curious as to the source of your interest in this topic. Are you a user with a name longer than 50 characters? 331dot (talk) 08:26, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting, can you submit a bug ticket at UTRS' Github?--v/r - TP 14:15, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Unblock Request
editDear admins,
I'm writing to appeal the indefinite block on my account which is preventing me from editing Wikidata. I understand that my actions may have raised concerns, and I'd like to clarify my intentions and actions. I understand now that my approach was incorrect and assure you that my intention was not to disrupt or spam. I am committed to improve as I have already reviewed Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I will also ensure that my future edits align with community standards and I am willing to participate in constructive discussions and seek guidance from experienced editors. Thank you for considering my appeal. I look forward to your response and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Wikidata.
Thank you ~~~~ Adamu ab (talk) 08:18, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Wikidata is a separate project. If you are blocked there, you need to appeal there. There's nothing en.wikipedia.org can do for you. --Yamla (talk) 10:03, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Ok

Unable to get unblocked
editI tried logging in. Was told I’m blocked. Tried submitting an unblock request. Told my user name (the same one I was told is blocked) doesn’t exist. 2601:1C2:680:50E0:8CDF:536D:3150:711C (talk) 16:01, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- I don’t even know why I was blocked. This is absurd. 2601:1C2:680:50E0:8CDF:536D:3150:711C (talk) 16:02, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- There's not enough information here for us to do anything. What is your user name? Why are you attempting to use UTRS instead of posting to your talk page? --Yamla (talk) 16:13, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- If you login you should still be able to edit your talk page. Secretlondon (talk) 16:33, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
