Error
editI noticed an error where I could not see any userboxes below User:The Homosexualist/U/HAWrevolution and there appeared to be nothing wrong with the source but I am unsure how to fix it. As a temporary solution I moved sections 11 and 12 to the new article Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideologies_(beyond_10) and they are visible there without any problems. I understand that the artcle Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics was split to fix display problems caused by too many templates on overly-long page which might be the problem with this article. Hopefully this article will not have to be split permanently. Tk420 (talk) 20:01, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- It looks like the split will have to be permanent so I created the disabiguation page Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideologies (disambiguation) similar to the one on Politics by country after sorting the userboxes on this page into alphabetical order. Tk420 (talk) 12:23, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
02 subpage past template limit again
edit@Buaidh: The 02 subpage is overrun with too many templates again. Would you mind doing your thing, reorganizing? Perhaps it'd be wise to leave a little margin for expansion, as new boxes are routinely added. Moving half of the "E" ones to 03, and then having to move some from there to 04, and so on sounds like a pain. So, I'm curious to see if you have a better way. Thanks. – voidxor 22:25, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- I've added a fifth page to Political ideologies. This should forestall overruns for a few more years. Yours aye, Buaidh talk contribs 02:43, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry to "bump" this year-old talk, but @Buaidh: I noticed that after this clean-up there is no section for Communism/Marxism on this page but the Socialism subcategory on page 5 still has a link pointing to that category. Is it alright if I re-add the category and some of the removed userboxes? Specifically the "main" shorter-form ones and not the excessively wordy and specific ones. wwklnd (talk)
- @Wwklnd: I've moved quite a few things around. The political ideologies are now divided like this.
- Political ideologies A–B at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideology#Political ideologies A–B 5,956 bytes
- Political ideologies C at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideology/02#Political ideologies C 8,002 bytes
- Political ideologies D–L at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideology/03#Political ideologies D–L 7,759 bytes
- Political ideologies M–N at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideology/04#Political ideologies M–N 6,725 bytes
- Political ideologies O–Z at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Ideology/05#Political ideologies O–Z 6,187 bytes
- It's rather difficult to combine some ideologies since the political left and right are not as clearly defined as 50 years ago. Left me know what suggestions you have. Yours aye, Buaidh talk e-mail 22:31, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
