Userbox for users with no alternative account.
editDear fellow editors,
I am leaving the present message out of courtesy to other editors interested in creating/maintaining userboxes.
I have just created the subject userbox and included it into the list on this Project page. It seemed to me that, if there is a series of userboxes available to users declaring their alternative account(s), then it would also be logical to offer a userbox for those users who wish to declare they have no alternative accounts:
This user has no alternative account. |
I hope this addition will be seen in the positive spirit I intended. Thank you.
With kind regards;

Userboxes in userspace
editIt is useful to section off templates in user space in "Some user space alternatives" as a warning, because unlike those in template space where there has to be a consensus for change (and it is likely that such templates will have users watching them), a user is free to change their own userspace with no notice, or even delete the template.
Further as other users do not normally watch other user's space, if such templates are vandalised the change may not be noticed. This is particularly true if the template messes up formatting that affects everything that follows, in a similar way to a malformed signature.
Finally once a user is happy with the layout of their user page they may not vew it for months at a time, so deletion of a template, or radical changes to it, may ot be seen for months. Therefore to reduce such risks sectioning off user space templates is desirable.
