- Hi. WP:FILM didn't have anything to do with article selection, unfortunately. The Wikipedia Version 1.0 editorial team did, with the aid of a a selection bot that picked based upon "quality and importance". Still, all is not lost. A manual nomination system is in operation too. If you find or contribute to an article meeting the criteria, you can add it to the nominations page for an impartial reviewer to assess and, if successful, to add to the list at Wikipedia:Release Version. Articles are removed if they fail to meet the criteria. Steve T • C 20:39, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
