How to create new templates?

Can anyone tell me how to create new templates? I want to open following new stubs

{Indian-Poets-Stub} {Indian-Sufis-Stub}

Before you create one, you will have to propose it at stub sorting proposals. Indian-Poets-Stub should be India-poet-stub. On Indian-sufis-stub, I would not recommend dividing the people on racial lines. See Wikipedia:Stub for the procedure to create stub templates. -- Ganeshk (talk) 15:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
