EDITION Hotels is a lifestyle luxury hotel brand launched in 2010 by Marriott International and Ian Schrager.

The chain was originally announced in 2007 as a deal between Marriott International and Ian Schrager. At the time, locations were planned for Paris, Madrid, Costa Rica, Miami, Washington, Chicago and Scottsdale, Arizona. Two hotels were also planned for Los Angeles. The first property did not open until 2010.[1]
