Submission declined on 27 October 2024 by SafariScribe (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Please remove all inline external links, there must be no links pointing to external resources until the footnotes in the 'References' section. Convert to citations instead, where relevant. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:25, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: In articles on living people, pretty much every material thing you assert, and certainly anything potentially contentious as well as any private personal details must be clearly supported by inline citations (placed right next to the statement made) to reliable published sources. Which source gives this person's DOB? Or his tenure as a member of legislature, which is after all the clearest claim of notability here? And why are there several paragraphs entirely without referencing – where is all that information coming from? DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:24, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Notability is there for being a MLA, maybe for founding companies (but needs better sourcing there). Author section is a bit long for my taste without any coverage in independent reliable sources. Links to a site like goodreads is convienent, but just shows existence. I've removed a lot of unsourced or primary sourced puffery, still could use a good pass and another editing pass on the Author section Ravensfire (talk) 19:23, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

editHe began his journalism career with Ravivaar in the late 1970s and later joined The Telegraph in 1985. In 1986, he founded Chauthi Duniya, the first Hindi weekly of its kind, known for its investigative journalism. Bhartiya was also instrumental in launching Jain TV, India’s first private news channel.[6][7]

In addition to his journalism and political career, Bhartiya wrote the book “VP Singh, Chandrashekhar, Sonia Gandhi aur Mein”.[12] In this work, Bhartiya reflects on his close associations with V.P. Singh and Chandrashekhar, recounting critical events during their tenures as Prime Ministers, as well as the political strategies and challenges they faced. He also discusses his observations of Sonia Gandhi’s role in shaping the Congress Party and her leadership during pivotal times in Indian politics.[13] Through candid anecdotes and insights, the book provides a deeper understanding of the complexities of Indian political history from Bhartiya’s unique perspective as both a journalist and a political insider.[14][15]
Bhartiya has also produced films such as “Hogaya Dimaag Ka Dahi”, “Fatso”, and “Bhaiyyaji Superhit”.
