Jorge Cubo and others reported the first evidence of biomechanically adaptive bone modeling in non-avian dinosaurs from the limb bones of Maiasaura specimens of different ages. Their find provided more evidence that this hadrosaur hatched as a biped and gradually transitioned to walking on all fours as it grew.
