Various criticisms

edit

The Croydon Advertiser has a story looking at the accident six months on. There are various criticisms of different agencies' handling of events in the aftermath of the accident mentioned and linked. Raising here as to whether or not any of them are worthy of mention in the article. Seems to me this has been a catalogue of errors from the start. Mjroots (talk) 14:21, 10 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Loose ends

edit

With the announcement that there are not to be any prosecutions over the accident, the only other loose end is the fate of the tram. Was 2551 scrapped, or has it been repaired? Mjroots (talk) 13:14, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

It's not been returned to service and there's no report of it being written off or scrapped so not too sure. Class455 (talk|stand clear of the doors!) 18:41, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Inquest

edit

It's likely that the inquest verdict will come in the next day or so. The jury started their deliberations yesterday and have been sent home after a full day today according to Twitter. Thryduulf (talk) 15:35, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
