Talk:2019 Chilean Air Force C-130 crash

Just to note...

edit

If the figures at List of missing aircraft#2001–present are correct, then this would be the second deadliest incident of the decade. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:13, 10 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Assuming it remains missing. Most crash sites, also over water, are found and stricken from the missing list. --Hippeus (talk) 14:20, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
It depends on where the plane goes down, but yes this is also true. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 14:32, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Lead photo date inconsistency

edit

The lead photo is purportedly of FACH 990 in 2005, but sources in this article state that this aircraft was still in service as USMC 160628 at that time. I've posted a question on the Talk page on Wikimedia Commons in hopes that the photographer will offer an explanation. Carguychris (talk) 20:36, 16 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Probably it is another FACH (maybe this one, the number can't be seen in either of them; perhaps both are FACH 996/998). The metadata confirms it was taken on "21:45, 23 February 2005" (the hour was given by the camera's configuration). © Tbhotch (en-3). 22:51, 17 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
I found the real one. Maybe the other one still being the sister. © Tbhotch (en-3). 23:39, 17 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
