Notablity
[edit]This film is notable and should remain on Wikipedia.
This is a South Korean film that was covered in the American trade magizine Variety and multiple South Korean newspapers and websites. It is difficult to find English language sources, but non-english sources count and are valuable. It is perhaps a cult movie nowadays. However, papers of the time took note of it and, in modern times, its position as part of early 2000s queer film in South Korea has also been noted.
This is extending the strict bounds of MoS, but it is also noteworthy for its connection to Park Chan-wook as an early work of his and part of the New South Korean cinema in general. There is a December 2002 issue of the film magazine Kino (키노) featuring a conversation between Park Chan-wook, director Lee Moo-young, and Yoon Tae-yong before the release of film that would be interesting to add if is someone has access to it. — SquawkGuard (talk) 01:27, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
