editHas grammar, POV issues. Will attempt to rectify myself at some point. MKV 23:13, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Ustad
edit"Ustad" should probably not be part of the title, per WP's non-use of honorifics in article titles. Badagnani 17:35, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I wondered about that. It's like titling an article "Mr. Bruce Springsteen". :)

Image
editThe image has to be flipped as Ustad Allarakha is a right handed, and the image shows him as a left handed.
Place of Birth
editHis biography at the Allah Rakha Foundation site says that his place of Birth was Phagwal, Jammu. Link: [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saorabh (talk • contribs) 18:46, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

- Sorry, I had to remove most of your addition. Making changes doesn't mean copy-pasting material from http://www.hinduonnet.com/fline/fl1704/17040830.htm into the article. The text was used almost verbatim. To use material it has to be formulated in one's own words and not be a close paraphrasing, otherwise using a source becomes a copyright violation. Hekerui (talk) 01:25, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'll keep that in mind. Saorabh (talk) 01:26, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Source
editThis article has enough citations; how does one remove the tag on top of the article that says it needs more citations or will that be automatically removed? Saorabh (talk) 01:23, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- It does not get automatically removed. You could manually remove it but I don't believe the article is adequately sourced: two of the four sources are for the award mentions, one is for a quote, and one for his death. Hekerui (talk) 01:27, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- What I meant to say was that most of the information that is given in this article has been taken from the sources mentioned, so this article, as it is, has all the citations it needs. It is another matter that this article needs to be expanded. Saorabh (talk) 01:31, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
