• Comment: Project Kuiper is the concept that has become a fledgling satellite constellation, Kuiper Systems is the company that is implementing the project. For comparison, we have an article about the competing Starlink constellation, but we don't have a separate article about Starlink Services, LLC. There may well be more reliable sources that talk about Project Kuiper than Kuiper Systems, but that doesn't make one the WP:COMMONNAME of the other. I have no particular preference, but as things stand the article is written with the company (and its parent company, Amazon) as its subject, and it would need to be reworked to focus on the project if this move is made. As an outsider I expected Project Kuiper was the most commonly used. @Rosbif73 asserts the two names under consideration refer to related but distinct things. That's worth considering, but the company's job postings:

Refers to "Project Kuiper" and doesn't mention "Kuiper Systems". The company itself seems to be leaning into the "Project Kuiper" branding. I'm not saying this alone should be determinative, but it is suggestive. If the company is using "Project Kuiper" in this way, and more generally, isn't it reasonable to expect a Wikipedia user would search for and expect to find a "Project Kuiper" page? it's impossible for them to achieve this - they would need to launch ~39 more times in just under 1.25 years

There will be a beta period of some undetermined length with no guarantee of service quality (rapidly improving as they launch more birds + dial things in), they need ≥578 to begin global service IIRC. Samsung0804 (talk) 22:42, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

• Disagree: This article is about constellation not the launchers. For LEO destinations, normally only the altitude and ascending node would change. The launcher likely puts in the final orbital inclination.

Amazon Leo

Well as of noon eastern today, Amazon announced that Kuiper is becoming Amazon Leo. Obviously there's the whole renaming this page thing, but what should be done with the flights (particularly with Atlas and Vulcan since they have KV-04 and KV-01 actually named)? Transclude Launch history / Future launches from "List of Amazon Leo launches" page

That is now the main source for launches, and we should transclude it - statistics, list of launches, future launches and all - into this page.

However, when I attempt to do so, Wikipedia brings in the entire article, not just the specific section. Perhaps the "List of Amazon Leo launches" page is malformed in some way? Any ideas?
