American Teacher (film) → American Teacher – per WP:PRECISION – BOVINEBOY2008 15:51, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
- An American Teacher is an American teacher. Keep the disambig. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:24, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
- We have no article on any other topic named "American Teacher". And even if we did, it would be at American teacher. --B2C 01:33, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Oppose proposed move, but... support converting American Teacher into a disambiguation page or retargeting American Teacher to Education in the United States. I don't believe the film or the disambiguated article in the hatnote, Education in the United States, is the primary topic, but the education topic is certainly more notable than the film.Steel1943 (talk) 21:32, 17 April 2014 (UTC)- Support per WP:UNDAB. "American Teacher" seems a very unlikely search term for Education in the United States. That would be a very silly obstruction to readers. --BDD (talk) 18:10, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- Support. I was giving this some thought, and basically, I support per BDD. Afterwards, the hatnote should be removed as well, since it is really not necessary. Steel1943 (talk) 18:40, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- If we had a Teachers in the United States, I think that would be worth at least a hatnote. As such, it's a bit like moving American Hustle to American Hustle (film) and redirecting the base title to Crime in the United States. (Apparently there's also a American Hustle (2007 film), but pretend there isn't for the example's sake.) --BDD (talk) 18:43, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- Support per User:Born2cycle/UNDAB. --B2C 01:33, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
